The Lord is preparing His sons to receive the Ark
Part One
The Lord is gathering and raising up worshipers to sound His voice. He is preparing His Bride to receive the Ark back.
The Lord is gathering and raising up worshippers to prepare for His entrance into the city. He is coming as a Lover and preparing His bride for the baptism of the Holy Spirit as He is gathering and setting His priests apart.
I asked the Lord recently, Lord, what are You doing with Your bride? Holy Spirit where are we standing now as far as prophecy is concerned? Lord, reveal to us things to come.
I am one of those who believe the Lord wants His bride to know what He is doing and the move of His Spirit.
He's been speaking to me over a year now "it's time for love" and we are the generation who brings a revelation of the Lord as our Lover and God as our Father. The Father is revealing to us His Son as our Lover. This means we will know and understand, taste and live in that place of intimacy with Him. It's a place of oneness and abiding, having His heart and His thoughts for us, learning to rest in Him, having His confidence, and enjoying the love He showers on His Bride. He touches our heart in a special way and makes sure we are founded, rooted, and grounded on His love for us. We become lovers as He is.
Then we bring that revelation of His love for us to our generation – we become witnesses of the things we have seen and heard. He's been speaking to me for a while now: "It's My love for you, that will help you run your race". Knowing the Lord as my Lover will begins with experiencing His passionate fire and desire for me. As your heart is ignited the Lord will use you to be as salt and ignite His passionate fire in others who are seeking intimacy with Him.
We're living in a time where the Lord is sovereignly releases a revelation of His love. He takes us into places in His heart we have not experienced or known and fills our hearts with His love for us. It is an overwhelming love that rocks your world and all you need to do is to respond to Him. We respond to His love and give Him back the love He pours out in our hearts. After all, there is only one thing we can give Him - a Lamb. Like Abel we will give our Father from the best of our flock – a lamb and His shed blood for us on the cross. We give Him back Jesus in our heart. There is nothing else we can give but the image of Jesus in us.
We're already made in His image but we're on a journey of finding what this means. We are being revealed who Jesus is in us. We're finding who He says we already are in Him.
It's the Father who draws us to His Son and He is the One initiating this move as He reveals His Son to us as a preparation for the wedding He has prepared for Him. He is the One presenting the bride He has prepared to His Son and giving her to Him as a beloved. The Father is very particular in choosing a bride for His Son and preparing her for Him. When she is ready, He will send His Son to get her and bring her to His house.
It's fascinating times we're living in as the bride's heart is burning with desire and passion for her Lover. It is His desire and passion for her that stirs her heart. She responds and enters into this love dance with Him as He flames the fire in her heart and that passion grows in her heart.
The Lord has spoken to me recently that He is gathering His children and setting apart those priests who were appointed to worship Him. He is raising up and putting into position the musicians, singers, song writers, those who play instruments, and blow the trumpets - to praise Him and give thanks. He is positioning His worshippers to sound His voice in preparation for His coming. He is bringing back the Ark which was lost.
When we read 1Ch 15:1- 1Ch 16:43 we can see the picture of David the King who prepares a place for the ark to be brought to the city of David. David as the type of our King was used by God to reveal to us things to come. This is prophetic to what the Lord is doing with His Bride.
The ark of the Lord was taken away and David wanted to bring it back to himself to Jerusalem. However, he needed to prepare a place for the Ark because he realized his people are NOT ready for it.
What does this mean to us?
The ark was where the book of the Law, the manna and Aaron staff which budded, were hidden.
The Law represents the Law of Liberty and grace which is written in our hearts. It represents the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Gospel of peace. This Law of Liberty and Grace which is hidden in the Holy of Holies – in an intimate place. In intimacy with Him we will find His Law which is hidden in our hearts.
The manna represents the bread from Heaven – God's Word spoken to us. Through His spoken word we have a revelation of who Jesus is. He is the Word and He is the One who became broken bread for us so His word can spread everywhere and feed His children. The manna represents what we need to eat as our food – being hungry for His word, having our daily bread to nourish our spirit. It is being fed with the fruits of His heart as we fellowship in the Garden with Him. In order to eat His Word we need to hear His voice. We come to Him and eat His fruits of love, peace, joy, goodness, kindness, and we experience His love for us. Eating His word is what changes us from the inside. It is not about reading His word, but having His word come to life in our hearts as we experience His love for us. We become what we eat of Him.
Aaron staff represents authority and power. It is hidden in our hearts but the Lord is about to reveal to His Bride her identity in Him. She will find who she is in Him as a priest, as she finds who He is in her as her High Priest. She will assume her position in Him and come to that place of authority and His power in her. Her authority is to forgive sins. As a priest she will set those who are messed up (blind, lame, mute, deaf, sick, bound) free and make sure they go back Home. The Lord is our Home.
Mar 2:10-12 "But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--He *said to the paralytic, (11) "I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet and go home." (12) And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this."
David could not bring the Ark to Jerusalem yet.
- He could not bring the Law (Law of Liberty and Grace, the Gospel of the Kingdom)
- He could not bring the Manna (Bread from heaven, His Word, His voice; the Food He wants us to eat).
- He could not bring the staff of Aaron (the authority of the High Priest to forgive sins and set free the bound)
Why is that?
Why couldn't David bring to himself to Jerusalem (the Bride) the Gospel of God's Kingdom, God's Word and His voice, and God's authority?
One of his servants named Uzzah had reached his own hand to touch the Ark when one of the oxen (leaders in the Bible) had stumbled.
1Ch 13:9-14 LITV And when they came to the threshing-floor of Chidon, then Uzza put out his hand to take hold of the ark, for the oxen stumbled. (10) And the anger of Jehovah burned against Uzza, and He struck him, because he had put out his hand on the ark; and he died there before God. (11) And it burned to David, for Jehovah had broken a breach against Uzza; and he called that place, The Breach of Uzza to this day. (12) And David feared God on that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God to me? (13) And David did not bring the ark to himself, to the City of David, but carried it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite. (14) And the Ark of God remained with the household of Obed-edom in his house three months. And Jehovah blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that he had.
Uzzah saw a failure, he saw fault, weakness, mess, inadequacy, of one of the leaders and he reached his own hand to fix it. Uzzah was struck by the Lord and immediately died "because he had put out his hand on the ark; and he died there before God. (11) And it burned to David…, (12) And David feared God on that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God to me?"
Uzzah represents those who follow the King walk with Him but in their heart they still look at failure and find faults in others. They are accusers who see and judge mess. By the works of their own hands they try to fix the failure. It's not out of a living heart, but out of a judgmental heart "how could you do that? You see how you failed? You can't do it, You're not good enough". These accusers are the ones who will betray the Lord with a kiss. It will seem as if they have intimacy with Him and love in their hearts, but they judge what others do like Judas "why couldn't we sell the oil and give the money to the poor?".
This is why Jesus revealed to us who are the ones who will betray Him, when He said:
Mat 26:21-23 NASB As they were eating, He said, "Truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me." (22) Being deeply grieved, they each one began to say to Him, "Surely not I, Lord?" 23 MKJV And He answered and said, He who dips his hand with Me in the dish, the same shall betray Me.
Uzzah had touched the Lord's vessel who had stumbled with his own hand (power in the Bible). He was trying by his own power to fix the mess.
By how Uzzah had died we can know what he had done. Why? Because the Lord set up a spiritual law "your own ways will come upon you", and "I will repay you according to your own ways". Since it was the Lord' anger that burnt against Uzzah, we know that Uzzah had expressed his anger against the failing leader. He tried to consume him with his burning anger. Therefore this was the way he had died. His own ways came upon him. "(10) And the anger of Jehovah burned against Uzza, and He struck him, because he had put out his hand on the ark"
David was disturbed and realized that his own people are not ready to bring the Ark to Jerusalem. The hearts of his own people are not ready. His people are accusers who burn their anger against those who fail. His own people look at nakedness and point to eat; they judge others with their hearts, and will not be able to receive the Ark.
Meaning, the Ark which got lost in their hearts needs to be brought back. Finding the Ark and bringing it back to Jerusalem means His Bride is finding her true identity in Him. She is finding out His Law of love in her heart; who she really is as the Father draws her to His Son and reveals to her His image.
The King knew His own people who live in Jerusalem will not be able to receive the Gospel of the Kingdom, and give up the man-made gospel of religion they follow.
They are not ready to receive the Bread, His Word, His voice in their hearts; meaning if He speaks truth they will not be able to receive it.
They are also not ready as Priests to walk in His authority and power. Our authority is to forgive sin and set prisoners free. It means His people could not exercise their authority to forgive and had issues with unforgiveness. They also kept messed up people bound by not setting them free, but judging them. Therefore the King sent the Ark somewhere else (to the household of Obed-Edom whom God has blessed for a season).
This is when David decides to call his people to prepare themselves to receive the lost Ark.
In other words, the Lord is preparing His Bride to receive the lost Ark; the lost Gospel of the Kingdom; the lost voice and His word; the lost authority to forgive.
Insight
The Lord spoke to me in August 2009 that His gospel is not understood and it got lost in the Temple, but His Bride is about to find the Gospel of His Kingdom in her heart. (2Ki 22:8-13, 2Ki 23:2-4). She will have a revelation of the Gospel of the Kingdom and understand the message of His Gospel of peace.
The same way the book of the Law was found and read to the people, His Law of grace and love and His gospel is about to be found in our hearts. He is releasing a revelation of His truth and understanding of the gospel of His Kingdom in the heart of His bride.
2Ki 22:8-13 NASB Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, "I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD." And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan who read it. (9) Shaphan the scribe came to the king and brought back word to the king and said, "Your servants have emptied out the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of the workmen who have the oversight of the house of the LORD." (10) Moreover, Shaphan the scribe told the king saying, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read it in the presence of the king. (11) When the king heard the words of the book of the law, he tore his clothes. (12) Then the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Micaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah the king's servant saying, (13) "Go, inquire of the LORD for me and the people and all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found, for great is the wrath of the LORD that burns against us, because our fathers have not listened to the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us."
2Ki 23:2-4 NASB The king went up to the house of the LORD and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests and the prophets and all the people, both small and great; and he read in their hearing all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD. (3) The king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep His commandments and His testimonies and His statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to carry out the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people entered into the covenant. (4) Then the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second order and the doorkeepers, to bring out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven; and he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.
In the book of Nehemiah we find the Levites teach the people from the book and the law of God. They were translating it so the people could understand. The people were mourning and weeping when they heard the words of the law.
Neh 8:7-13 NASB Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, the Levites, explained the law to the people while the people remained in their place. (8) They read from the book, from the law of God, translating to give the sense so that they understood the reading. (9) Then Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, "This day is holy to the LORD your God; do not mourn or weep." For all the people were weeping when they heard the words of the law. (10) Then he said to them, "Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; (Go feed others with what you are fed) for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." (11) So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, "Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved." (12) All the people went away to eat, to drink, to send portions and to celebrate a great festival, because they understood the words which had been made known to them. (13) Then on the second day the heads of fathers' households of all the people, the priests and the Levites were gathered to Ezra the scribe that they might gain insight into the words of the law.
Paul spoke about the gospel of the Kingdom which was distorted in the book of Galatians. It was for a reason that he opens his letter focusing on his mission as an apostle, letting them know that he is an apostle but NOT from men, or through men. He became an apostle through Jesus and the Father.
Why would he open his letter with such a statement? He made sure they knew that no men raised him up or trained him or taught him who Jesus is or what His message is. He had not received the message of the gospel which he preached from man, but from the Lord Himself. Paul was trying to get their attention and let them know "Your gospel IS from men, but my Gospel is from Jesus"
Gal 1:1 MKJV Paul, an apostle (not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised Him from the dead),… Gal 1:11-12 For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. (12) For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.
Why would Paul tell them that they had heard a different gospel unless he wanted to make sure they knew their gospel in NOT the real one?
He wanted to make sure they understood their gospel is a man-made gospel. They follow man-made traditions and laws.
Gal 1:6-9 MKJV I marvel that you so soon are being moved away from Him who called you into the grace of Christ, to another gospel, (7) which is not another, but some are troubling you, and desiring to pervert the gospel of Christ. (8) But even if we or an angel from Heaven preach a gospel to you beside what we preached to you, let him be accursed. (9) As we said before, and now I say again, If anyone preaches a gospel to you beside what you have received, let him be accursed.
Why would Paul mention in his letter that he was advanced in Judaism beyond many and was zealous for the traditions of his forefathers?
Because this was the condition of their hearts. The church in Galatia felt they know better than others and followed a gospel which was passed on to them by men. "You might be advanced in Christianity beyond many and are zealous for the traditions of your fathers, but you need to have a personal revelation of Jesus for yourselves".
Paul mentioned to them it was a personal revelation of the Son in him that enabled him to preach Jesus among the Gentiles. He did not receive what he had preached from men or from the elders or apostles in Jerusalem. Paul was basically telling them "your gospel is not a revelation of Jesus, but a man-made gospel. It is a different gospel".
Gal 1:14-17 NIV I was advancing in Judaism beyond many Jews of my own age and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. (15) But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased (16) to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not consult any man, (17) nor did I go up to Jerusalem to see those who were apostles before I was, but I went immediately into Arabia and later returned to Damascus.
Paul was speaking to the Galatians that they are walking under the Law, and following a different gospel which is man-made teachings. He shared with the Galatians that the gospel he had brought to Jerusalem (the Bride) and preached among the Gentiles was shared with the leaders of Jerusalem but it was shared privately.
Why would Paul set the gospel before the leaders of Jerusalem the Bride in private?
Paul knew it would be hard for these leaders to receive the gospel he had been preaching. He had received this gospel through a revelation of Jesus Himself (Gal1:12) and he knew it was different from their gospel. Paul knew by a revelation (Gal 2:2) that their gospel was a different one and he wanted to give them the true gospel he had received.
Gal 2:1-2 NIV Fourteen years later I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also. (2) I went in response to a revelation and set before them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. But I did this privately to those who seemed to be leaders, for fear that I was running or had run my race in vain.
This is why Paul had shared with them what had happened to Cephas who compelled the Gentiles to live like Jews. He mentioned Cephas because he wanted to tell them "you are acting like Cephas". Paul knew this was the problem in the church of Galatia.
They were living under the law of Moses compelling others to live under man-made laws by preaching a different gospel which they received from their fathers.
Gal 2:14 NASB But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in the presence of all, "If you, being a Jew, live like the Gentiles and not like the Jews, how is it that you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?
The truth that the Lord is releasing concerning the Law of His heart is not something we have heard. It is a gospel which comes from the Father who reveals the Son to His Bride.
Mar 1:15 NASB and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."
Mar 8:35 NIV For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.
The Lord has been speaking to me about the lost Ark – the lost Gospel in our hearts.
The lost Voice and His lost authority in our hearts.
"Elana, it is time for the lost Gospel to be found in the Temple. It will be found by My priests and My Bride will find the Law of My Kingdom which I had put in her heart. She will find the Law of love which got lost in her man-made Temple. She will preach it with My voice as I reveal to her the Gospel of My heart. She will hear My voice speaking to her as I feed her with her daily bread and reveal to her what My House looks like. She will respond to Me as she finds My Law of grace and liberty in her heart. As she sees who I AM and My love for her, she will become as I AM and walk in her authority to forgive sin. When she knows she is forgiven, she will be able to forgive"
We're living in a time when the Lord is preparing the heart of His bride to receive the true Gospel, the new food He has for her, and also her authority and power. In order to receive the Ark, our hearts need to be prepared. The Lord is preparing our hearts as He builds our house (hearts) in His city.
This is what David had done to prepare for the coming of the Ark. It is a picture of what the Lord is doing with His Bride. David as a King built houses in the city.
1Ch 15:1-4 LITV And he built houses for himself in the City of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and stretched out a tent for it. (2) Then David said, None should bear the ark of God except the Levites, for Jehovah had chosen them to bear the ark of God, and to serve Him forever. (3) And David gathered all Israel to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Jehovah to its place that he had prepared for it. (4) And David gathered the sons of Aaron and the Levites.
David as a King built houses in Jerusalem that would not be as Uzzah. These hearts will not touch the Lord's anointed with their own hands (power and authority) by expressing a burning anger against them when they fail and stumble.
Part Two will be posted soon….
