You Search the Scriptures Looking for Me But I am right Here in Front of You
You Search the Scriptures Looking for Me But I am right Here in Front of You
I had such a personal revelation of what Jesus meant when He said:
"You have your heads in your Bibles constantly because you think you'll find eternal life there. But you miss the forest for the trees. These Scriptures are all about me! (40) And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren't willing to receive from me the life you say you want.” John 5:39-40 MSG
Have you ever sat in the same room with a person you love and the distance between you is small, but the heart distance is the greatest distance you’ve ever felt?
They’re doing their thing, writing, studying, sharing, creating new online relationships, while Jesus (in you) is sitting right there, as close as possible,… and they can’t see Him. They think there is life somewhere else and cannot see it’s as close as can be. If they could only see love.
When Jesus talked about not willing to receive from Him the life that they said they wanted; He meant that life they wanted is - Love.
Jesus tried to communicate with the people around Him, saying…
"You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God." Mat 22:29
The people He tried to communicate with never understood what the writings were all about. They kept analyzing the writings, researching, looking, trying to find a revelation and then write about it, or preach it the next day. Nor could they understand what the power of God is about – it’s the power of love).
It’s the power of love that raised Him from the ashes.
He had to explain to the guys from Emmaus about Himself because they too could not see what He is all about. But when He spoke to them about Himself; when He spoke the language of love; when He revealed Himself as a Lover - their hearts were burning within them when He spoke. He revealed Himself to them and they could see themselves in Him.
Luk 24:27 Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.
Luk_24:32 They said to one another, "Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?"
I always wondered why god gave Adam a wife as a helper.
I never realized there was a reason why God told the man “it’s not good for you to be a lone”. Because God knew man needed a Mirror to look at so she could remind them who they are. He knew the woman can help keep their hearts awake.
That’s why the snake attacked the woman. If she’s not there for the man, he would be alone.
But if the man tries to find life/love in a book, online, or in writings, he will never find it there. He would be alone deceiving himself that there is life there.
And here I am, standing right before you, and you aren't willing to receive from me the life you say you want.”
“To love is to live. To live is to love. Embrace both radically and fully, and live the abundant life - full of genuine.” Mick Mooney

You are God's Star
You are My Star
We're all familiar with kids coming home from school with a 'Star Student' on their shirt; and they're so excited that they were chosen to be Star Student of the week.
Well, my son got a Star this week and today I was thinking about how proud God is of each and every one of His children, that He gave us a STAR.
You are His Star!
God put the stars up in the heaven to remind you who you are in His eyes.
He wanted to show you how He is thinking about you... telling you...
"YOU ARE MY STAR AND YOU SHINE SO BRIGHTLY!
YOU'RE A STAR!
YOU'RE A SUPER STAR!
SO... SHINE!

Living in the Present is I AM
I AM - Living in the Present
Have you ever asked yourself why Jesus presented himself as I AM to the religious guys, and why they wanted to stone him to death?
What was so heretic in what he said? What does I AM mean?
I often ask myself questions like that because sometimes things don't make sense. It's hard to see, to understand, to know what is this all about.
When Moses asked God for his name, God introduced himself to Moses by the burning bush as "I will be, whom I will be" (אהיה אשר אהיה)
He gave Moses a future reference. He told Moses "I will be". However, we know his name is Yehovah (Jehovah יהוה).
Yehovah in Hebrew has a reference to the Now, the Present moment. That's exactly what Jesus said to the religious guys.
Jesus said I AM, in Hebrew he said Jehovah.
Who are you? they asked,
He answered, "Jehovah"
He boldly told them I AM GOD!
Can you imagine what he said to them?
No wonder they took stones and wanted to stone him for blasphemy.
How can he a human being say that he is God and use the name of their God Yehovah?
Jesus didn't have a problem with his identity. He knew who he is. He knew where he came from. He knew who his Father is.
He had no problem telling his disciples "How can you ask me show us the Father? You have been with me for so long. You have seen me, you've seen the Father.
They did not understand what he was saying to them.
God always knew who we are, and had no problem telling Moses before sending him back to Egypt "You are God (Elohim) to Pharaoh."
He had no problem expressing through David saying "I said you are God (Elohim)".
The name I AM refers to the present moment, to the Now.
Saying I AM is saying… I AM NOW in the PRESENT!
Our being is not about who we will be in the future, "What if...?"
Nor is it about the regrets of the past “If only I could…”
Such is a life under the condemnation of the Law. It is a life rooted in never achieving, never obtaining or becoming.
We live our life form the Present, from who we already are… I AM NOW!
Jesus challenged their belief system and yours too
Jesus challenged their belief system and yours too
Jesus challenged the people's ways and belief system and introduced the Kingdom, but all the Pharisees could hear Him say is "break the law" and they thought He was a false Messiah.
Their belief system says "you shall NOT drink blood, or you will be cut off" but Jesus said to them "Drink My blood and eat My flesh".They thought He was out of His mind and did not want to follow Him.
NOWHERE EVER did they have ANYTHING written with what He taught. He IS the revelation of the Kingdom and brought teachings which are OPPOSITE to ANYTHING anyone has EVER HEARD!
Imagine how He still challenges us today with our own belief system.
Imagine when you've heard all your life about sins, continually asking God to forgive you of your sins, tithing, first fruit, sacrificing all for God, obedience, repentance, righteousness, holiness, spiritual disciplines, fasting, prayer, and how to maintain your salvation - and Jesus comes and CHALLENGES all your paradigms, and removes all these foundations so He can build new ones.
Imagine He speaks to you the OPPOSITE of what you've heard all your life, and you go..... what? This is blaspheme, it's not what all churches teach. It's not what I've heard, it's contrary to........................ what I know."
What if this is what God meant when He said "do not lean on your own understanding, but trust Him?"What if everything you've learnt, you need to consider as rubbish, as Paul had; and let the Holy Spirit teach you all over again?
What if it's true when God said that He subjected ALL humanity under futility and WE were ALL kept in custody and raised under the law and being shut up to the faith, until faith is revealed?
Gal 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith which was later to be revealed. Gal 3:24 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
Rom_8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope
Be open to the Spirit and don't lean on your own understanding. You've heard it say; but I SAY, said Jesus and in their eyes, He broke their own doctrines which were written in their Bible.
I Am Your Lover not your Master because You are My Wife not My Slave
I Am Your Lover not your Master because You are My Wife not My Slave
I want you to imagine a relationship between a man and a woman who are about to get married. He wants to marry a woman and He tells her what conditions she needs to fill in order to be suitable for Him. He was telling her how to pursue Him, reconcile to Him and meet the standard:
“Listen, I want you to build Me a House (Tabernacle) and I will come and live in the house that you built for me.
Then I want you to give Me gifts every day (offerings) and sacrifice you all for Me. I will tell you what gifts to bring Me and if I’m pleased with them”.
Then He opens this huge scroll and lets her know that she HAS to love Him with all her heart, might and soul and if she breaks one of these commandments…. She cannot be with Him and has to kicked out of the house she herself built. It she doesn’t love Him with all her might and meets all His demands, she is filthy, defiled, unclean, not worthy to be with Him and she is immediately removed from Him.
He tells her she has to take a shower (cleansing) to keep herself pure for Him and reconcile with Him if she wants to be with Him.
Imagine how she daily has to check if she is clean enugh for Him.
Imagine this woman bowing down to such a husband saying O.K, I’ll live with You in this relationship. I will do all that You’ve asked and I will obey.
What woman would marry a man like this?
What woman in her right mind want to be in such an abusive relationship?
Only a prostitute who does not know her worth and her value would sell herself for a relationship with such a pimp who takes from her all that she has.
This is what Israel said to God “We will hear and obey”. The minute they said it in their pride, thinking they could fulfill the law, God said to Moses “tell them not to come near Me and stay away from the Mountain”.
After they received that law and thought they could live with God under such a marriage covenant, all they experienced was the wrath of God for EVERY failure to keep that law or meet those standards.
They were never good enough.
Why was that?
Because God is THE Giver of ALL things.
In the New Covenant it’s Him who built you a House;
It’s Him who gave you gifts;
It’s Him who sacrificed His life for you and gave His all for you;
It’s Him who cleansed and purified you;
It’s Him who reconciled you to Himself;
It’s Him who came to you and pursued you;
It’s Him who loved you;
Jesus is a Lover.
In the new marriage covenant we know God as a Lover, but in the old system man can only know Him as a Master – a distorted image of who He really is.
A man and a woman who live together in a relationship and he rules over her, lords over her or treats her like a master, coming with demands… that's called an abusive relationship. Such relationship under the system of the law makes it impossible for the two who are one to celebrate one another.
A marriage relationship can either be one of celebration or of toleration. We need to celebrate one another, not tolerate one another.
But how can they do it if all they see is how each one is falling short?
How can they do it if they do not see how equal they are and the same?
How can they do it if one believes he is more than the other and she feels she can never measure up to his standard and expectations?
A love relationship can never be established on such a foundation of separation.
God was a Husband (Baal in Hebrew) to Israel under the old system. They did not know Him as their Lover (Ishi).
Jesus established a New Covenant – a new relationship system founded on love, equality, sharing, being blind to nakedness.
Lording over the wife is a curse that Eve put herself under. It was never the Lord's intention for His Beloved who is as He is to live in an inferior design, or relate to her as lording over her.
They were created Ish and Isha, not Husband (Baal) and Wife.
Only AFTER eating the wrong fruit Eve submitted herself to the curses of the law and “your husband will rule over you.”
Your Ishi will govern you, be a master to you, own you, lord over you.
Meaning “her desire will be for her Ishi and she is the one chasing after him, trying to please him and earn his love. At the same time he will lord over her.
The Hebrew says you shall call me "Ishi" (my personal man - which means a Lover), and no more "my Baal" (my husband, one who lords over, one who forces, one who makes you, who demands from you, a master). This is our wonderful Jesus full of grace love and truth.
He wants to be your Lover, no longer your Master. It's a Lover-Wife relationship of being equal, not a Master-Slave relationship as one is less than the other. He formed a Lover-Beloved relationship.
Hos 2:16-17 NASB "It will come about in that day," declares the LORD, "That you will call Me Ishi And will no longer call Me Baali. (17) "For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, So that they will be mentioned by their names no more.
Our Father wants us to know Him for who He truly is – Love and a Lover. He even created man in His image and all males in the earthly are the ones who pursue their females. We all know how a man feels about a woman when she is the one pursuing him, giving to him, trying to win him, trying to persuade him to love her or be with her. Such a woman has no worth in a man’s eyes. It’s the same with us and the Lord.
He wants you to rest in all that He has done and given to you not on what you can do for Him. He wants you to be established in His love for you and not be shaken on how much you can love Him with all our might and effort.
He is pleased with you, you don’t need to win His love or attention.
The absence of intimate words in marriage produces a relational wilderness
"The absence of intimate words in marriage produces a relational wilderness where nothing will grow. Divorce may not occur, but neither will a happy, thriving relationship. And poisoned speech—negative, sarcastic or hateful words—will kill a relationship. There are no inconsequential or meaningless words. God has given us language to produce life. To have a great marriage, a large quantity of positive, quality words are needed. God created the world with words. You are made in His image, and your words hold creative power. By words, you speak value into the lives of others, express your heartfelt needs, dreams and desires, and thereby create intimate relationships." Jimmy Evans
God is Meek ... what's that?
God is Meek ... what's that?
2Co 10:1 Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ"
In Greek "meek" really means:
Gentleness of spirit,
It is that attitude of spirit we accept God's dealings with us as good and do not dispute or resist.
So Christ's meekness means He accepted God's dealings with Him as good and did not dispute or resist.
What was God's dealing with Christ?
"This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased"
James 1:21 NASB
(21) Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility (meekness) receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.
Just accept that you are God’s beloved child and He is very pleased with you.
Praǘtēs (meek) is not readily expressed in Eng. (since the term "meekness" suggests weakness), but it is a condition of mind and heart which demonstrates gentleness, not in weakness, but gentleness in power.
It is a balance born in strength of character.
It is an inwrought grace of the soul.
1Co 4:21 What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness (meekness)?
Love and meekness are the OPPOSITE of the rod…
The rod and the staff in Psalm 23 were meant for the wolves, not to beat (you) the sheep. It comforted David to know that even though he walks in the shadow of death, and all he sees is darkness, God is with him and the Lord as His shepherd will not allow the wolves (religion, accusers) to devour him or kill him.
God does not come to you with a rod to beat you in the head or to break you, but in His meekness He comes with love and gentleness to comfort you.
Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
James 3:13 NASB Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness (meekness) of wisdom.
The meekness of wisdom is the acceptance of God’s love for you. Just accepting that you are God’s beloved child and He is very pleased with you.
Psalms 34:2-4 NASB My soul will make its boast in the LORD; The humble will hear it and rejoice. (3) O magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. (4) I sought the LORD, and He answered me, And delivered me from all my fears.
God delivered him from all his fears because Go’s perfect love, which casts out all fear, was revealed to him. It his meekness (acceptance of God’s love) his soul boasted in the Lord and rejoiced.
Col 3:11 "... But Christ is all, and in all (mankind). Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves (Greek: plunge into, sink into) mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, and patience.
Titus 3:1-6 NASB
(1) Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed,
(2) to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration (meekness) for all men.

God is NOT a Master who makes sure all bow down to Him
God is NOT a Master who makes sure all bow down to Him
The Law (old testament life philosophy) was meant to EXPOSE sin and show man how Sinful he is.
This is NOT a plan God had to MAKE man find out Christ/Truth.
A veil (the law) NEVER helps anyone SEE better. It just makes them more blind, as Jesus said "how deep is the darkness?".
The more sin is exposed and elevated in someone's life, the deeper the darkness, blindness and ignorance - the inability to see Christ. It brings man to the END OF HIMSELF, groaning from torture and suffering. And it;s NOT God torturing him to bring him to his knees and the end of himself. It's the ONE man submitted himself to, that brings him to his end.
God is NOT a Master who makes sure all bow down to Him. Human's call their man made god LORD but Jesus came to explain 'not so with you, we do not lord over one another". He revealed the true nature of God. He does NOT lord over us. He is a Lover, not a Master. The word Jehovah, in Hebrew DOES NOT means LORD, it means I AM.
Seeing God? How?
Seeing God? How?
“Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She looked around and said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (Jn 8:10–11).
Do you know what speaks to me here?
When she looked around her and SAW NO ACCUSER AROUND.They were ALL gone!!!!And it wasn't HER who dealt with them.It wasn't HER that fought them or drove them away from her life.It was HIM!He did it!He drove them away from her life and set her free from those accusers who were about to kill her.
When she looked around she SAW no accuser no one! All that remained was Jesus.Jesus said to her, I'm not one of those accusers, "Neither do I condemn you"
When she looked around All she SAW was Jesus. All she saw was Light and Love. All she SAW was Christ in front of her as in a mirror. She could SEE herself more clearly when the dark cloud of accusers was gone. She was awakened to LOVE - to see herself through His eyes.
“But when they were FULLY AWAKE they saw His glory” (Luke 9:32)
Don't look around you in the midst of the storm, look in one direction... see Chrits,See who you are,See the love and grace,See yourself through His eyes.
(12) We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! (13) But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love. 1Co 13:12-13
Job in the midst of his suffering knew that one day he WILL SEE God with his own eyes. He knew one day his eyes will open. He was so excited about it he almost fainted:
Job 19:25-27 NASB(25) "As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.(26) "Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God;(27) Whom I myself shall behold, And whom my eyes will see and not another. My heart faints within me!
Job had not only heard of God but had also seen him: ""I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You."
Job 42:1-5 NASB(1) Then Job answered the LORD and said,(2) "I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.(3) 'Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' "Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know."(4) 'Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.'(5) "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You;
David asked:
Psalms 42:2 AMP(2) My inner self thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God? [John 7:37; I Thess. 1:9, 10.]
And the answer is.... LOOK IN THE MIRROR and see Him looking at you.
Look around you and see Him in ALL... He is ALL and in ALL.
Knowing the Lord as a Lover No Longer Call Me Baali But Ishi
Knowing the Lord as a Lover No Longer Call Me Baali But Ishi

It’s Him who loved you;
Jesus is a Lover.
In the new marriage covenant we know God as a Lover, but in the old system man can only know Him as a Master – a distorted image of who He really is.
Act 17:24-25 NASB "The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; (25) nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things;… (26) and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, 27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and exist,… Act 17:29-30 NASB "Being then the children of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man. (30) "Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent (think differently).
He wants us to rest in all that He has done and given to us not on what we can do for Him. He wants us to be established in His love for us and not be shaken on how much we can love Him with all our might and effort.
He is pleased with us, we don’t need to win His love or attention.
Jesus knew Peter needed to think differently (repent) about Him.
“Peter, you thought you loved Me with all your heart and you would die for Me. You thought you could love Me with all your heart. But Peter, it’s Me who gave My life for you and died for you.
“Peter, do you love Me (agapeo) God’s love?”
“No, Lord. I love you (Phileo) human love”.
“Peter, do you love Me (agapeo) they way I love you?”
“Lord, You know everything; I love you (Phileo) human love”.
“Peter, do you love Me (agapeo) God’s love?”
Peter was weeping…. Lord; I love you (Phileo) human love.
Peter got it. He knew how much he was bound to the law thinking he could fulfill it and love God, give God, be for God, fight for God, and by his performance he could please God and be loved by God.
This is a relationship under the old system of the law.
Let the Lord reveal to you His love for you, who He is for you, what He has done for you and show you that it’s not about how much you love Him; but how much He loves you with all His heart, might and soul.
Jer 32:41 NASB "I will rejoice over them to do them good and will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.
Come out from under such system because Jesus died to set you free from it and it’s curses. Living with God through DEMAND mentality means you’re living under the law.
The Law demands righteousness from man, but grace gives righteousness to man.
Righteousness is NOT right doing in the New Covenant. It’s your position with God and your new identity in Christ. It’s who you have become as Christ imputed to you His righteousness. It’s a GIFT you receive not something you DO. Righteousness is not earned, bought, paid for, given based on your works or how good you are. It’s a freely given gift to those who believe – by faith, not by your performance (works).
The Lord said to me one day:
“Elana, if you build your relationship with Me based on how much you love Me, you’re on a shaky ground. One day you love Me, the next you’re upset and no longer faithful to Me.”
I said to Him “I now Lord, it’s true. If I say to You I love You with all my heart, I am a liar and a hypocrite. How do I live with You?”
He said to me, “Let me build your relationship with Me on how much I love you. That will never be shaken. My love for you will never change or be removed.”
“Lord, I want that relationship with You”, I said.
And this is my walk with Him ever since. I’m learning to RECEIVE His love and less focus on what I need to give Him or be for Him or do for God. He did it all for me.
He built me as a Temple, took away all my sins,
He purified, cleansed and perfected me by His blood;
He made me holy and made me complete in Him,
He gave me His righteousness and made me a new creation,
He gave me a new identity – now it’s Him living in me,
He gave me a new address and brought me to my new Home in Heaven,
He seated me in heavenly places in Him who sits at the right hand of God,
All that’s left is the wedding – that’s my hope and my confident expectation for good.
He already gave me the wedding gown – His most expensive robe of righteousness.
There is nothing for me to do because He did it all. My part is to believe (receive).
So, be loved and let Him show you and reveal Himself to you as your Lover.
The Lord is awakening love because it’s time for love.
Much love

Jesus is the Proof of Your Worth
When you're trying to prove your worth,
To prove you're right,
To prove you're not this or not that,
To prove that you ARE this or that,
You're stuck in self righteousness... it's very dark there...
How about knowing you already ARE precious,
Already are justified,
Already are right,
Pure hearted,
Innocent,
Wonderful,
Amazing,
It requires a lot of effort to prove something,... fight for it.... an maintain it..
It requires no effort to know you have it.... it's a gift... and there is no need to try and maintain it because it will never EVER change or be taken away from you.
That's rest from works... (from Cain's effort to become something he had always been).
Just BEYou can already say .... I AM
What does it mean to treat the grace of God meaningless?
What does it mean to treat the grace of God meaningless?
Many think that treating the grace of God meaningless means not obeying the law, not doing something I was supposed to do, not meeting God’s standard, falling short from His glory, or not being good enough; but we need to read this in context and see what it truly means.
I added the parenthesis so we can see that treating the grace of God as meaningless means - thinking we're right with God by trying to keep the standard of the law. Meaning, it's submitting ourselves to the standard of the law in order to BE good enough for God, in order to please Him, or try and be Christlike. Such believe comes from seeing yourself as NOT righteous, not in the image of God, not pure and not a Son.
Galatians 2:20, 21 NLT
"My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless (by trying to keep the law or meet a certain standard because of thinking that I'm not good enough). For (because) if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die."
It's submitting ourselves to teachings that enslave us under it to obey it. Remember? "Whatever teaching we obey, we become slaves to" said Paul. You're not slaves, you're Sons of God and whatever you do it is because you're full, complete, perfect, as God; and not because you still need to work harder to BECOME as God.
"As He is you already are!
It doesn't say "As you work harder and try more you WILL BE as He is."
You see, submitting and believing the teachings that tell you that you're NOT YET this or that, not as God yet... IS treating the grace of God as meaningless.
He says you are, because it was never by you’re law keeping,.. it's a gift and was never based on your performance...
Let go of the standards... and just BE the Son that you already are.
As you see yourself through His eyes, (pure, clean, righteous, holy, perfect, wonderful, amazing, beautiful, compatible spouse, not different that Him, not separated, but the same), your doing will change.
It's never by effort.... it's by knowing who God says you are.
You're His perfect spouse, just as He is.
No, God didn't make any mistake making you,
There is no mistake in love.
You're not a mistake, it was His intention to have you.
Just like a mother kisses her children over and over, or a husband is drawn to his wife; He kisses you over and over and is completely in love with you.
you are His love dream.

What is the True Gospel?
What is the True Gospel?
If you're theology is changing and you’re finding out the you believed a different gospel, and you want to know what IS the true gospel of Christ, hope this conversation helps:
Charles NChrist Ademolu wrote:
If you're proclaiming a message that starts with any variation of:
You're a sinner... You were on your way to hell but Jesus... God punished Jesus though you deserved it... Let Jesus into your heart... In order to be saved you must... If you reject Christ, God will reject you... God loves you only because of Jesus... Jesus died for you, now you must... If you say this prayer, then you'll be saved... All you must do to be saved is believe... You were unworthy but He loved you enough... God loves you, but...
It. Isn't. The Gospel. ♥
Someone asked: So what is the gospel?
Elana Polinger wrote:
The gospel is not what the old covenant of the law taught us... that God is a blood thirsty vampire who demanded blood (payment) for our sins. Jesus came to reveal our true Father to us.. that He freely gave us all things; NOT by payment. God is not a debt collector; collecting payment for our debt (sins). When we find the good news of our identity (the true gospel who is Christ) we find who we are..... we are as God is. God is Love and that's who we are. There is no other false man made graven image. Whatever way the world measures us, it always sees the wrong in us and tells us how to fix it. It cannot see the right in us. It cannot understand righteousness APART from performance (works).
But the original design of our identity is revealed in Christ who became man (human) to show us, through His relationship with God, what our true relationship with the Father looks like. His relationship with the Father is ours. Our image is reflected in Him as in a mirror. He mirrors who we are.
How awesome is this? That's the true gospel.
A theology that rests its salvation on one ounce of human performance is not good news; it is bad information. It tells you, if you stand so long on a street corner, if you distribute so much literature, if you sacrifice so much of life, if you are baptized, if you contribute your money, if you pray or attend numerous meetings, then your good works and hard effort will cause God to smile on you. Ultimately when the good is weighed against the bad on the Day of Judgement, you will finally earn His favor. The result in that, I say again, is man's glory, because you added to your salvation.
Grace says you have nothing to give, nothing to earn, nothing to pay. You couldn't if you tried! Salvation is a free gift. You simply lay hold of what Christ has provided. It really is finished! There is nothing you need to do to please God, or become like Him... you ARE!!!! And always have been. Just because Adam believed a lie about himself does not mean God's truth about mankind was erased. We have always been Sons even when we submitted to the doctrines of the law and saw ourselves as slaves.
Love Has No State
Love has no State,
Love has no boundaries,
Love is in your heart,
Love is all and in all,
Love is who you are!
If love (you) is forgotten, it's because you felt that you were forgotten,
If love is disfigured and a false distorted image appears...
Then love (you) becomes limited.
You (love) didn't become confined because you wanted to…
Love became confined because you forgot who you are.
You are love and not a distortion of love...
See how limitless love (you) are!
Fly and let love (you) flow out of you, despite of others who forget who they are.
Love is GREATER than death!
You are GREATER than end!
You (love) are GREATER than anything that tries to convince you of how worthless you are.
Love reminds you of your value,
Love persuades you of your GREAT WORTH!
Love repeats… "YOU ARE THE FIELD I PURCHASED AND GAVE MY ALL TO PAY FOR.
That field had always been Mine ... but I still gave it ALL to redeem My image in you. You are worth it ALL for Me and contrary to what you’ve heard... I WILL die again for you if that what it takes to awaken you to My love for you.
But death does not awaken love in you.
Love awakens love.
My love for you awakens love in you.
The Enemy of Low Self Esteem
The enemy of Low Self Esteem
The religious Pharisees were busy fighting those who opposed and threatened their belief system (Romans), not knowing that as Sons there is no need to fight for what is already yours.
No need to fight to become something or maintain their status.
After all, they never became Sons by their right believing or how much they know... it was a gift given to them by God.
The world (Gentiles, unbelievers) was not their enemy, but their inferior view of themselves as slaves was.
They thought the Messiah would come and fight against their enemies (those who believe differently, or those who oppose to the god they followed), but He came to reveal how included the human race is, how reconciled, how accepted and innocent all mankind is.
He came to redeem their identity as Sons of God, not to fight against any group or nation.
God is not against Mankind, He embraced us all.
He is all and in all.
Living in the Present is I AM
Living in the Present is I AM
Saying I AM is saying… I AM NOW in the PRESENT!
Our being is not about the regrets of the past “If only I could….”
Our being is not about the future “What if…?”
Such life under condemnation is a life rooted in never achieving, never obtaining or becoming.
We live our life form the Present, from who we are… I AM NOW!
I love what Sarah Ann Howell wrote: “living in the present is living in His presence and it’s heaven on earth.”
“I'm also experiencing some truth that I've never realized I've experienced before until recently. IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! It all has to do with living in the "PRESENT", and the "PRESENT" actually being HIS PRESENCE and HEAVEN ON EARTH! In His presence (THE PRESENT) is FULLNESS OF JOY. But "the present" doesn't mean "how we are feeling in this present moment" or "how things seem in this present moment". To me, "the present" is the ABSOLUTE AWARENESS of the "PRESENT", HIS PRESENCE, HIS ETERNAL TRUTH. To me, it is THAT WHICH IS UNSEEN, that which NEVER CHANGES and can NEVER BE CHANGED... There's SOOO OMUCH MORE TO THIS THAN THAT, BUT EVERYTHING ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE IS CHANGING!”
