The Lord is preparing His sons to receive the Ark - Part Two
David prepared the city (Jerusalem, the Bride) for the coming of the Ark. As a King he built houses in the city. It is a picture of what the Lord is doing with His Bride – He is building houses as He is preparing hearts who could receive the lost Gospel of His Kingdom. Heart that will be set free from religion, and the Accuser working in them. Hearts who are sensitive to the move of His Spirit. Hearts that will worship Him is Spirit and also in truth.
1Ch 15:1-4 LITV And he built houses for himself in the City of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and stretched out a tent for it. (2) Then David said, None should bear the ark of God except the Levites, for Jehovah had chosen them to bear the ark of God, and to serve Him forever. (3) And David gathered all Israel to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Jehovah to its place that he had prepared for it. (4) And David gathered the sons of Aaron and the Levites.
The Lord is raising up the musicians, the singers, the song writers, the worshippers in order to prepare His Bride to receive the new revelation of Jesus in her heart.
1Ch 15:16 LITV And David commanded the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their brothers the singers with instruments of song, psalteries, and harps, and sounding cymbals, to lift up the voice for joy.
The Lord is gathering all His nation but also His priests and Levites. He is raising up worshippers. Worshipping the Lord is not only in song and with music because everything we do unto Him is an act of worship – how we speak, think, use our imagination, what we see and focus on, and what comes out of our hearts.
Then David gathered all Israel and the priests and Levites and raised up worshippers.
It is the Lord who going to help His Levites (In Hebrew – "those who accompany" Him) carry the Ark of His marriage covenant and bring it to His Bride Jerusalem. This is when the Levites who bring the Ark will present sacrifices to the Lord (they will pay a price for the Ark they preach).
1Ch 15:25-26 And it was David, and the elders of Israel, and the commanders of the thousands, who were going to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah from the house of Obed-edom with joy. (26) And it happened, as God helped the Levites carrying the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.
David the King was dressed as a Priest when the Ark was brought to Jerusalem and all Israel was bringing the Ark with joy. However, this is when the King's first wife – Michal despises Him in her heart. She is a picture of the religious bride who is the bond woman Hagar. We see her in Vashti as well. Those who are religious will not care about bringing back the lost Ark. They will watch it with their eyes as the Lord restores what was lost, but they will hold in contempt those dancing, laughing and rejoicing as the presence of the Lord (Ark) is in their midst.
1Ch 15:27-29 LITV And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen,(as a Priest) and all the Levites that carried the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah, the master of the song with the singers. David also had an ephod of linen on him. (28) And all Israel was bringing up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah with shouting, and with the sound of a horn, and with trumpets, and cymbals, sounding aloud with lyres and harps. (29) And it happened, as the ark of the covenant of Jehovah came to the City of David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out through the window and saw King David dancing and laughing. And she despised him in her heart.
It was while the presence of the Lord was in their midst, that Jesus entered Jerusalem and like babes the people in Jerusalem shouted in the Temple with joy. However, the religious guys were indignant and filled with contempt.
Mat 21:15-17 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they became indignant (16) and said to Him, "Do You hear what these children are saying?" And Jesus *said to them, "Yes; have you never read, 'OUT OF THE MOUTH OF INFANTS AND NURSING BABIES YOU HAVE PREPARED PRAISE FOR YOURSELF'?" (17) And He left them and went out of the city...
The people who saw Jesus enter the city made a joyful noise to the Lord. It was the noise of rejoicing. Psa 66:1-2 AMP To the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm. MAKE A joyful noise unto God, all the earth; (2) Sing forth the honor and glory of His name; make His praise glorious!
Psa 95:1-2 AMP O COME, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! (2) Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!
In the same way the Israelite made a noise of shouting and singing before the false image of God, the Bride of the Lord will make a joyful shout as she sees the presence of her Bridegroom in her midst. She will shout and rejoice before the True image of God - Jesus.
Exo 32:17-18 NIV When Joshua heard the noise of the people shouting, he said to Moses, "There is the sound of war in the camp." (18) Moses replied: "It is not the sound of victory, it is not the sound of defeat; it is the sound of singing that I hear."
We can see this picture of the Bride rejoicing with a joyful noise and with music when Joash son of Ahaziah was anointed king. Ataliah who had heard the noise of music represents those Pharisees who did not like it when the people rejoiced before Jesus.
2Ki 11:13-14 NIV When Athaliah heard the noise made by the guards and the people, she went to the people at the temple of the LORD. (14) She looked and there was the king, standing by the pillar, as the custom was. The officers and the trumpeters were beside the king, and all the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets. Then Athaliah tore her robes and called out, "Treason! Treason!"
Eze 37:7-14 NIV So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. (the Bride of the Lord who was made from a bone will be filled with the Spirit according to His word, as He breaths on her). (8) I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. (9) Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.'" (10) So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. (11) Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' (12) Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. (13) Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. (14) I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.'"
Joe 2:5 NLT Look at them as they leap along the mountaintops. Listen to the noise they make—like the rumbling of chariots, like the roar of fire sweeping across a field of stubble, or like a mighty army moving into battle… 11-12 The LORD is at the head of the column. He leads them with a shout. This is His mighty army, and they follow His orders. The day of the LORD is an awesome, terrible thing. Who can possibly survive? (12) That is why the LORD says, "Turn to Me now, while there is time. Give Me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning.
Reading the next chapter we see what David had done which gives us a picture of what the Lord is about to do with His Bride.
Chapter 16
1Ch 16:3-4 LITV even he (the King) passed out to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to each a loaf of bread, a portion, and a raisin cake. (4) And he set before the ark of Jehovah ministers from the Levites, even to celebrate and to thank and to give praise to Jehovah the God of Israel:
The Lord will feed His own who hear His voice as they received the Ark of His presence, with their portion of His Word in their hearts. He will satisfy their hunger with His sweetness. He will also appoint His ministers from those who accompany Him (Levites) who will give thanks. He will restore the praises and the celebration of His presence.
Then on that day Thanksgiving was given.
This is when the Lord will open a door for thanksgiving. It will be thanks of appreciation, of a hungry Bride who has prepared her heart for His presence to manifest in her midst. A Bride who rejoices in His presence and doesn't care of she looks like a fool in the eyes of the religious ones. She shouts, she dances, she makes a joyful noise and thanks the Lord for revealing His image. She recognizes Him in her midst, and she cries out to Him for Salvation. She understands her need for salvation and cries out to Him "Hosanna, Son of David, Save Us Lord most High".
1Ch 16:34-36 MKJV O give thanks to Jehovah, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever. (35) And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us, and deliver us from the nations, so that we may give thanks to Your holy name, and glory in Your praise. (36) Blessed is Jehovah, the God of Israel forever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised Jehovah.
When David brought the Ark back to himself, it is a picture of the Lord revealing the Sons of God. The Ark which represents His presence is also His Body, His Bride, who has Him inside her heart - was returning to its natural place - the most Holy of Holies and under His wings.
Bringing the Ark is a restoration of identity and intimacy with the Lord as our Lover and Bridegroom. The Ark belongs under His wings in that place of intimacy where His voice is heard.
1Ki 8:6 NASB Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubim.
We see the religious bride (David's first wife) and the Pharisees despising the King when she hears the people shouting with joy. However, as a preparation for His coming, the Lord will set His bride free from walking under the Law. He will set her free from the Law of condemnation which accuses for sin and brings death (the letter kills, it's the ministry of death). This is why the Lord peaks to us in the book of Galatians about a time set by the Father in which He will set the heirs who are sons, free from the guardian (the Law).
The Lord revealed to us in the book of Galatians that the sons as long as they are children, they look like slaves. Even though they are heirs and owners of everything, they are still under a guardian, a nanny – the Law of Moses. This until a time set up by the Father in which He decides to reveal Jesus – reveal His image to His Sons.
Gal 4:1-5 NASB Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, (2) but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father. (3) So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world. 4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, (5) so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
This is the time. We're living in it. This is the date set by the Father to set His bride free from walking under the law and having a religious Pharisaic mindset. This freedom means we're living in a time when the Sons of God are about to be revealed.
The Lord is setting His children free from the nanny-the Law of condemnation which kept her bound to sin, focused on sin, judging sinners and punishing them.
We are living in a time the Father has set apart to set free His bride whom He wants mature and free from the Law of accusations. It is a revelation of His love and His heart for His Bride. It is the gospel of grace in a measure that was not heard before. The Lord is setting sons free from walking under the Law of condemnation. He is setting them free from the guardian, the nanny – from religion and a religious mindset. His Sons are about to be revealed. They look like their Daddy.
The revealing of the Sons of God has to do with having them set free from the Law of accusations (becoming the Accuser), and it is in a time after those who preach the gospel but also point to sin (as John the Baptist has done to Herod) no longer have a voice. They point a finger to the sins of leaders whom God appointed, not liking their decisions and how they live their lives. These voices will be judged by the world system and be shut in prison for pointing to sin.
Luk 3:18-20 NASB So with many other exhortations he preached the gospel to the people. (19) But when Herod the tetrarch was reprimanded by him because of Herodias, his brother's wife, and because of all the wicked things which Herod had done, (20) Herod also added this to them all: he locked John up in prison.
"Reprimand" in Greek means:
to confute, admonish: - convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke, reprove, generally with a suggestion of shame of the person convicted, by conviction to bring to the light, to expose, to find fault with, correct, to call to account, show one his fault, demand an explanation, to chasten, to punish.
John walked under the Law and he had to decrease so Jesus would increase. John's ministry had to diminish so Jesus' ministry would flourish. Jesus' ministry brought much grace to sinners as opposed to John's who became the judge and hated the religious guys. He wanted them to pay for their evil and be judged by God. He called them snakes "brewed of vipers" (Mat 3:7).
The Sons of God will be revealed when the new voice of grace is released in the Body and the voice of accusations and vengeance is locked in prison. This is when the Heaven's open as the Son of God is baptized and the Holy Spirit comes upon Him. Then the Father reveals the identity of His Son. He comes to confirm and make sure all hear His voice and how much He is pleased with His Son. When the Father revealed His Son He gave us a picture of the revelation of His Sons who are in Jesus. The baptism that Jesus had gone through is the baptism of the Holy Spirit which will come upon His Sons who will be revealed.
Luk 3:20-22 NASB Herod also added this to them all: he locked John up in prison. 20 Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, (22) and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased."
The Father will make sure His Sons hear His voice saying to them "you are My beloved son and I am well pleased with you".
The true gospel of the Kingdom is a gospel of peace, not of judgment (Eph 6:15).
When will the gospel of the Kingdom be preached?
The gospel (Good News) of the Son of God will be heard AFTER the voice of those who cry out in the wilderness saying "prepare the way". Then God will send His messengers to preach "Behold, the Kingdom of God is here". John the Baptist who came in the spirit of Elijah is the last prophetic voice who preaches "Repent" but under the Law. When we see the hearts of the fathers turn to their sons, and the hearts of the sons turn to their fathers, we know the voice of the ministry of Jesus who preached grace will be heard. The ministry of those who have the voice of John who preached from under the Law and pointed to sin (to Herod's) has to decrease. The preaching of Jesus ministry will be "your sins are forgiven, God is not upset with you or counts your sins, or points to your sins. The door of His heart is open to welcome all who accept the gospel of peace and reconciliation. God is not punishing for sin because His Son was punished enough".
Mar 1:1-4 NASB The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (2) As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: "BEHOLD, I SEND MY MESSENGER AHEAD OF YOU, WHO WILL PREPARE YOUR WAY; (3) THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS, 'MAKE READY THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE HIS PATHS STRAIGHT.'" (4) John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
The true gospel of the Kingdom is not a gospel of division, strife, judgment, punishment, accusations, or pride. This is why the Lord called us to be ministers of reconciliation, and not of judgment, or division.
Pointing to people's sins and failures, mess and wrong says to them "I am better than you." We give them a message that they need to fix IF they want to come to God because God is angry with them and their sins. Is God angry with the world?
This means His bride will know that she cannot live under the Law of Moses preaching repentance by harassing people for their sins, like John the Baptist had done to Herod. He kept telling him he needs to fix his mess because Herod had taken his brother's wife for himself. Herod was fed up with John and put him in prison, later cut his head off. Judging people for their sins does not lead them to repentance (to change their thoughts or any change in their hearts).
Whenever we judge someone in our heart for his sins, failures, faults, weaknesses, inadequacies, and mess – we reveal what we believe in our heart – Jesus was not judged enough and therefore you need to be judged (by me) and you need to pay the price for your mess.
Do we judge the world? Nations? World leaders? World system?
Didn't God say He has reconciled the world (including our unsaved neighbors, world system, or any religious system) to Himself?
It means He no longer sees the world or the systems of this world with its laws as His enemies.
God no longer points a finger at people's sins. If He doesn't, why do we still point, accuse, blame and judge others in our hearts?
When we say "I'll never be like my mother/father" aren't we saying it from a judgmental point of view? Wasn't it said because we saw something WRONG with them and therefore we decided we will NOT be like them? This is just a small example of how we judge others in our hearts.
The Bible says it is God's kindness that leads people to repentance (to think differently). Judging people for their wrong, and pointing to it, will not bring people to any change. But patience, love and grace will. Preaching the true Gospel to sinners will lead them to the Lord, and not AWAY from Him. "God will judge you and put you in hell" will make people hate God. We don't preach who God is NOT, we preach who HE IS – He is LOVE, and not the Accuser.
Dear Bride of the Lord, I pray the Lord will speak to you more about His true Gospel which got lost in the Temple – in the heart of His Bride. His true gospel of grace can be found in your heart and you will find for yourself the Gospel of freedom and liberty which sets captives free, and does not bind people in the prisons of their own sins.
God bless you,
