Religion thrives on two lies

Religion thrives on two lies

"Religion thrives on two lies:

The illusion of distance and the illusion of delay.

You see, religion needs paying and returning customers." (Francois du Toit)

There is no distance between God and you because He is the closest possible to you. He put His Spirit inside of you and put you in Christ. Does it get any closer? This is why He called Himself Emanuel (God is with us). Nothing can ever separate you from Him. Sin was taken away. That's the good news.

Jesus is the fullness of the prophetic word. Time is complete because He is the fullness of time.

There is also no delay - it's all done and finished. God sees you and this world from a finished works perspective. What seems "future" to you has already been done in God's eyes. He is now resting from all His works because He is convinced in what He has done and completed.

You live in Heaven, the Earthly is your past................ something to think about....

Love Covers All Sin

Love Covers All Sin

"'LOVE {who is God} covers All Sins' {PROVERBS 10:12b}

EVEN WHEN YOU THOUGHT... you were naked...

'Adam, who told you that you were naked?'" (From Ward R. Thornton)

"Adam, who told you that you sill have sin all over you?"

Adam was covered in Christ and didn't know God sees no sins in him.

How true for today that those who are still in first Adam still see sin, have a reminder of sin and consciousness of sin (Heb 10:1-3).

They need to see their true new identity in Second Adam who is Christ - Sinless, Forgiven, Clean, Pure, Holy, Righteous.......... as He is, so they are in this world.

He remembers your sins no more and keeps no account of wrong.

"So why are you still bringing your sins to the Lord and keeping an account of your wrongs? I took them all away and I see you in Christ. When I see you I see Christ".

Lord, help us to see that the blood of Jesus is far better than the blood of animals that only covered sin, but could never take it away once and for all, cleanse or perfect the worshipper (Heb 10:1).

It is for your advantage that I go, said Jesus

It is for your advantage that I go, said Jesus

"Jesus said to them, it is for your advantage that I go, because I want to surprise you with more than just My presence in My physical body. I want to surprise you with a relationship of My presence in YOUR body".

Francois du Toit

“Looking deeply into the law of perfect Liberty″

“Looking deeply into the law of perfect Liberty″

"Digging beyond the surface in order to build your foundation upon the Rock, or as James puts it, “looking deeply into the law of perfect liberty,″ is summed up in 2Cor.13:5,8, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are holding to your faith, test yourselves, do you not realise that Jesus Christ is in you? For we cannot do anything against the truth, only for the truth!

Note that the appeal is not to examine conduct but faith!

The New Testament does not reveal a new, revised set of rules in order to compromise the Ten Commandments; it is the revelation of mankind′s redeemed identity!"

The God of creation canceled every definition of distance

"The God of creation canceled every definition of distance. His name Emanuel (God With Us) means exactly that". Francois du Toit

You are one with God, never to be separated from Him. How close is He to you? He put His Spirit inside of you and made you His Temple.

Thank You Lord for canceling any definition of distance from man.

We Got what Christ Has, Jesus Didn't Get What We Have

We Got what Christ Has, Jesus Didn't Get What We Have

Christ came to this world to dwell in a stinky manger but He was not worried about it because He made them as He is - clean, pure, holy and righteous. What an amazing God, He touches the leper and He doesn't get what the leper has. It;s the leper who got what He has - cleanness, purity, health, LIFE.

A Religious Mindset Search Me God and See if there is Any Sin in Me

A Religious Mindset Search Me God and See if there is Any Sin in Me

I read this word which was shared by a minister and it grieved me to see the condition of many in the church.

KEEPING CLEAN HEARTS .....
"SEARCH ME, O GOD, AND KNOW MY HEART ..... SEE IF THERE IS ANY
OFFENSIVE WAY IN ME AND LEAD ME IN THE WAY EVERLASTING". PSALM 139:23~24

I sometimes wonder, if this is the message Eve has heard and fed her husband with.
After all, the snake who came to the garden preached the law to her.

What does it mean he preached the law to her?

The ministry of the law is called the ministry of death – indeed death came upon them and upon all humanity.
The ministry of the law is called the ministry of condemnation – the snaky messenger indeed accused her of not being good enough, not meeting the standard. He basically told her she was blind and cannot see, stupid and has no wisdom and is not in the image of God (not Christlike).

She looked at herSELF, believed the message and doctrines he preached to her, ate the lie and went to feed it to her husband telling him he was naked (cunning, sly, shrewd – in Hebrew).
When god came to talk to Adam he asked him “who told you that you are naked?” Of course it was his bride who was a bearer of bad news making sure to tell him what she believed “You’re not good enough, you’re not meeting the standard of God, you’re not measuring up, - YOURE NOT RIGHT WITH GOD.

The snaky messenger of the law had preached to her the law and condemnation, not measuring up to its standard and being RIGHT by WORKS. He preached to her how to MAKE it RIHT with God. She believed being RIGHT is by how well she performs (law teaching) and took that bad news to her husband who came into agreement with her and it was DONE – the ministry of death had killed them and their children. A separation from God had come upon humanity who until now believes that being RIGHT is by right doing; not knowing that RIGHTEOUSNESS is a gift not dependant on ANYTHING you have done or could ever do, and not by how well you meet the standard of the law or certain requirements. It’s ONLY by RIGHT BELIEVING (faith).

I believe it’s time to discern the Word and follow the truth of the gospel which Paul had preached. It’s a Gospel (Good News) which he received by a revelation and not from men or through men.
As heirs, we all grew up with guardians and managers until a time appointed by the Father (Gal 4:1-2). It’s a time where we no longer need the Law as our Tutor –Nanny. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. Why? Because we are sons by FAITH, not by WORKS. It’s by right believing, not by our right doing. Man is made righteous by faith apart from his law keeping.

Galatians 3:24-26 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. (25) But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. (26) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:28 NASB For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.

ü So, if God had already made us a new creation in Christ by taking away all our sins and casting them in the depth of the sea;
ü And if He had canceled the certificate of debt (sins) with charges against us, took it out of the way and nailed it to the cross;
ü And if He had cleansed us from all sin once and for all and we are clean,
ü And if He had perfected us by the blood of His son Jesus,
ü And if He said there is no consciousness of sin or reminder of sin (Heb 10:1-3)
ü And if He had done such a perfect work of removing sin from us and said it is finished;
ü And if He had resurrected as the evidence of our righteousness with God,
ü And if He gave us a new heart and a new Spirit
ü And if he had built us as a new creation, new temple made by His hands, pure, holy, beautiful and complete in Christ,
ü And if He clothed us with His righteousness – not our own by how well we perform….

Then…..

Why do we still hear the snake preaching the law to us telling us our heart is filthy and needs to be cleansed? Wasn’t Jesus works on the cross and His blood good enough to perfect us once and for all?

Why do we still hear the ministry of condemnation telling us we’re not good enough, not measuring up to the standard of God, not meeting the requirements of the law? Didn’t Jesus come to meet that standard - which NO MAN could meet - for us?

Why do we still hear the ministry of death preached to us about not being qualified? Didn’t Jesus qualify us by His blood? Do we have any qualification of our own? Then we should boat in it. But we boast in what He has done, not in what we can do for God.

Why do we still hear the message of men and the works and performance, traditions and customs and laws of men who share with us a man-made image of a god; a god carved by man’s hands and by his own imagination and thoughts?

Are we following the a man made image of god, or who God Himself says He is? If God keeps NO account of wrong, why are we to keep short accounts?
Does God keep short accounts with us?
Does His forgiveness come in installments?
Is this a daily kind of forgiveness as in the Old covenant of the law?
Will God only forgive you until the next sin?
Are we trampling the blood of Jesus who had TAKEN AWAY ALL OUR SINS?

Is God still dealing with sin? So, it’s not finished? It’s not paid in full?

Are we sacrificing Jesus for our sins daily instead of receiving His once and for all sacrifice?

Are we still asking God to pay our debt (sins) when it had already fully been paid on the cross?

“Lord, forgive me for my SINS today – means “Lord, forgive me for my DEBT today”.

What debt was left unpaid?

What certificate of debt are you still holding on to when Jesus nailed it to the cross and it was taken out of the way. All you debt (sins) were cast into the depth of the sea. Do you think Jesus is going to dive daily into the depth of the sea to bring back the debt (sins) and then pay for it (forgive) daily by dying again?

Forgive my sins, means pay my debt!!!! It was fully paid for, so REST in HIS finished works. After He finished his works, he sat down at the right hand of the Father and you are in Him. He is resting from all His works which He has done, so rest in His finished works – you ARE clean!

Let me share with you the GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, not the bad news of the kingdom of men who bring the same message eve had heard and died.

The GOOD NEWS and the most AMAZING NEWS of God’s Kingdom is “THERE IS NO MORE ANY DEBT. IT HAD BEEN PAID IN FULL WHEN JESUS WENT TO THE CROSS FOR YOU AND WAS PUNISHED FOR YOU. HIS PUNISHMENT WAS THE PAYMENT OF YOUR ENTIRE LIFE OF DEBT. YOU ARE RECONCILED TO GOD AND HE KEEPS NO ACCOUNT OF ANY WRONG AND REMEMBERS YOUR SINS NO MORE AND SEEs NO INIQUITY OR PREVERSION IN YOU. HE HAS CLEANSED YOU FROM ALL SIN BY THE BLOOD OF HIS SON AND MADE YOU NEW WITH A NEW CLEAN PURE HEART AND A NEW HOLY SPIRIT. YOU ARE CLEAN NOT BECAUSE YOU BEHAVED WELL. YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS NOT BECAUSE YOU HAD MET ANY STANDARD OF THE LAW OR OF MEN. YOU ARE HOLY NNOT BECAUSE YOU ARE MODEST OR DO RIGHT. THE GLORY WILL NEVER GO TO MAN AND WHAT MAN HOW WELL MAN HAD WORKED, DONE OR PERFOMED. THE GLORY BELONGS TO HIS SON WHO HAD DONE IT ALL FOR YOU. IT’S BY HIS WORKS, NOT YOURS. IT’S BY HOW MUCH HE LOVED YOU, NOT HOW MUCH YOU LOVE GOD. IT’S BY HIS FAITHFULLNESS, AND OBEDIENCE, NOT YOURS. IT’S BY WHO HE IS, NOT WHO YOU’RE NOT. LIVE BY FAITH. LIVE BY BELIEVING THAT HE HAS DONE A GOOD ENOUGH WORK AND YOU ARE RIGHT WITH GOD APART FROM YOUR PERFORMANCE. LIVE BY BELIEVING THAT GOD NO LONGER SEES YOU, BUT CHRIST IN YOU.

So, why do men preach their own gospel and keep pointing to YOU and who your NOT and how much you still need a clean heart and a new spirit? Because they see the flesh, they don’t see the new creation you are in Christ.

When the accuser comes to preach works to you (law) and his messengers point to YOU, all you need to do is point to CHRIST who is in you.

When he says “you’re blind, sick, incapable, mentally challenged, stupid, not good enough, not measuring up to the expectations, need to do more, study more, love more, be more” – point to Christ and say:

”Look! Jesus Christ the resurrected One, the Beloved of the Father – this is who I am. He is my glory and I am complete in Him. I am he righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I have no righteousness of my own. It’s not longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me. Christ in me is my hope, not who I am not. My old nature was crucified with Christ, died and buried. My Father sees Christ in me when He looks at me. I could not meet the standard of God, so Jesus met it for me. He is my standard, He is my measurement, He is my righteousness and He had met all the requirement of the law for my righteousness. Christ is not stupid or blind, He is my wisdom and light and life. He is everything that I am. This is my new identity. He imputed to me His identity, His purity, His beauty, His glory and all that He is - and as He is so am I in this world. I live by faith not by what I see when I look at my failing flesh old identity. I don’t look at who I used to be it’s buried and I was raised up as a new creation. My flesh is not who I am. I don’t look at who I am not with a “Me Me SELF, who I am, mentality”, but at who CHRIST IS, this is who I am. It’s who He is in me, living for me and through me. I’m a new creation in Christ and this is my true identity.

The more you know who Christ is, the more you know you’re identity. But if you see Moses, follow him and abide in his teaching….. you’re following the law and the ministry of condemnation, and you think it’s who Christ is. The ministry of the law has to decrease so the ministry of the Spirit will increase. The ministry of death has to fade away, so the ministry of life and liberty will be revealed in its glory.

It’s not sin that hardens men’s heart. Sin is a fruit. Sin begins with how we think and perceive and it is rooted in wrong believing. The bible teaches that the STRENGTH of sin is the LAW.
In simple language, what gives sin power is the law – that standard you believe you still need to meet in order to please God or be right with God. The bible also teaches that the law increases sin.

It’s the law and walking under the old covenant and its doctrines and teachings (the old leaven) that increases sin.

So, it’s not sin that hardens men’s hearts, it’s the leaven they are fed with, it’s what they believe about themselves, God, and who God says they are. It’s all about eating the right doctrines (food).

The fall from grace is by eating the wrong teachings. Therefore coming back to the Kingdom is by eating the truth – right believing which we call faith.

Whatever you believe, you become.

Here are some scriptures for you to meditate on that truth:

Ezekiel 20:25-26 NASB "I also gave them statutes that were not good and ordinances by which they could not live; (26) and I pronounced them unclean because of their gifts,…

Galatians 3:12 NASB However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, "HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM."

Falling from grace is not when we fail in performance (sin), it when we seek to be right with God by our law keeping – by how good we are, how well we perform, how obedient and faithful we are, how we manage to meet the standard:

Galatians 5:4 NASB You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

You are right with god not because of your obedience, but HIS obedience. The purpose of the law was to INCREASE sin (yes, you heard it right):

Romans 5:19-20 NASB For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. (20) The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

Titus 3:4-5 NASB But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, (5) He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Job’s friend who didn’t believe he was right with God (righteous) had a false belief that God forgives only PART of your sins (until the next sin):

Job 11:4 MKJV For you have said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in Your eyes. .. 6 (I wish God would) show you the secrets of wisdom! (because you’re stupid like Eve and think you are clean and believe right) For sound wisdom has two sides. Know then that God forgets a part of your iniquity.
(Meaning, God took away only SOME of your sins and He still sees your sins, keeps an account of your wrong, and remembers your sins – you are not clean, believe wrong, a sinner, and not righteous).

Job 14:15 "You will call, and I will answer You; You will long for the work of Your hands.
Job 14:16 "For now You number my steps, You do not observe my sin.
Job 14:17 "My transgression is sealed up in a bag, And You wrap up my iniquity.

It’s not sin that blinds us to truth… it’s the LAW that veils us to the truth. Whenever Moses is read there is a veil over the heart and it is hardened and there is blindness to truth. This is the truth, and not what messengers of the law taught us.

2 Corinthians 3:14-15 NASB (14) But their minds were hardened; (because) for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. (15) But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart;

There is only ONE sin a believer in Christ can commit and this is the sin Israel had committed: UNBELIEF – not believing the truth of God’s love and grace which he extended to you. Not believing that His forgiveness of sins is NOT the same temporary forgiveness in the old covenant of the law. It is ETERNAL REDEMPTION , an eternal forgiveness of sins and an EVERLASTIG righteousness, not a temporary one based on your performance – that’s a shaky ground.

Believe the truth because the new covenant in Christ is founded on the forgiveness of sins – eternal forgiveness of sins, not temporary, not partial, not until the next sin. But the sins of your ENTIRE life were taken away and God made you knew, sinless, pure, holy, righteousness, clean, and complete in Christ.

Do you believe this?

What do you believe?

If Paul said the Galatians believed in another gospel and a different Jesus, will you be asking God which gospel do you believe and was preached to you? Don’t follow the messengers of the law, follow Christ and His Spirit who teaches us all things.

This was "word" that stirred me to write to those who want to hear the voice of their Shepherd. If you still like the voice of the law, please ask the Lord to reveal His true gospel to you which is the glory of Christ.

~~ KEEPING CLEAN HEARTS .....
"SEARCH ME, O GOD, AND KNOW MY HEART ..... SEE IF THERE IS ANY
OFFENSIVE WAY IN ME AND LEAD ME IN THE WAY EVERLASTING". AMEN.
PSALM 139:23~24

~~ SIN HARDENS HEARTS, BLINDS US TO TRUTH AND BREAKS RELATIONSHIPS.
DEALING WITH SIN ACCORDING TO BIBLICAL PRINICPLES KEEPS HEARTS SOFT
AND RESPONSIVE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE SCRIPTURES TEACH US THE
IMPORTANCE OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD, GIVING UP RIGHTS, HAVING A CLEAN
CONSCIENCE, KEEPING SHORT ACCOUNTS, AND HUMILITY.
WE MUST GO BACK TO THESE FOUNDATIONS, BEING DILIGENT TO KEEP OUR
HEARTS RIGHT WITH GOD AND OTHERS.

~~ " MY CHILDREN IS YOUR HEART CLEAN ?? Who is this father who is speaking?
MY CHILDREN ARE IN SIN WITH A HARDENENED HEART ?? This is NOT my Father and not the voice of my Shepherd.
MY CHILDREN ARE YOU BLIND TO THE TRUTH?? Sounds like the snake, speaking to Eve
MY CHILDREN ARE YOU IN RELATIONSHIPS WITH A HARDENED HEART?? I have a new heart and Christ lives in me, he is not a stone, but LOVE lives in me.

"My sheep hear My voice and a stranger they do not follow. don't follow the Nanny Law she is only a hireling. follow your Shepherd and believe Him. He is love.

Much grace, love and truth,

Walk as a Much Loved Bride

Walk as a Much Loved Bride

When a man says “Let’s be Friends” what he’s REALLY saying is: “I’m selfish. I like having you, but I don’t care enough about you as a person or respect you enough to be with you or be committed to you.”

It’s nothing more than just a creative way of telling you that he wants to keep his options open in case someone better comes along.

You need to realize that you are WAY TOO AMAZING to be some guy’s second choice!

You are far more precious than settling for a few minutes of his day, or having him call you at the end of the day, invite you in the last minute, not care about your feelings or treat you as obvious.

I say, NEVER show disrespect for yourself by treating yourself like you are some sort of commodity that can be traded for love and security. You deserve much better than that… but you must demand it for yourself before you expect anyone else to offer it to you.

I recommend freeing yourself up to recognize how truly special you are.

Taking care of yourself NOW will save you lots of heartbreak in the future.

The right man is one who will want to share EVERY part of his life with you, be with you, call you, show interest in you - so don't settle for crumbs.
If he is not, it means you're NOT in his mind or his heart. He might just like you and want you as a friend, but not as his special woman.

Remember you are special, beautiful and priceless and if the man with you does not recognize this, he is risking losing you.

A woman who respects herself will not settle for crumbs like the Canaanite woman whom the Lord called a dog. Dogs beg for attention, they beg to receive something, they beg for love. But a true Bride knows who she is. She knows her worth and knows there is NOTHING she needs to DO in order to be loved. He either loves her, or not. He either shares his life and love for her, or he doesn’t. If she sees her worth, she will attract those who see her as such, and treat her as a woman, not a worthless slave girl.

Your identity is NOT found in who the Law says you are (never good enough), or who people say you are, or how you see yourself. Your identity is found in who God says you are, and who He has created you in Him – BEAUTIFUL in His sight.

This is how a True Man and a Lover would see you. Do you see yourself like that?
The Lover of lovers has no problem sharing his heart for her. This is the love you deserve.

Song of Solomon 4:7-11 NASB (7) "You are altogether beautiful, my darling, And there is no blemish in you. "Come with me my bride, May you come with me. Journey down from the summit, From the dens of lions, From the mountains of leopards. "You have made my heart beat faster, my bride; You have made my heart beat faster with a single glance of your eyes, With a single strand of your necklace. "How beautiful is your love, my bride! How much better is your love than wine, And the fragrance of your oils Than all kinds of spices! "Your lips, my bride, drip honey; Honey and milk are under your tongue, And the fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.

What a Lover and how beautifully He shows and expresses His love.

Song of Solomon 1:15 NASB (15) "How beautiful you are, my darling, How beautiful you are! Your eyes are like doves."

Abraham knew the beauty of his wife:

Gen 12:11 It came about when he came near to Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, "See now, I know that you are a beautiful woman; 12 and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, 'This is his wife';

I believe when women know their worth and no longer settle for crumbs, the men with them will respond accordingly – either as lovers or just friends. They might even walk away. Don’t settle for friends, it’s not what you want anyhow. And if he doesn’t respond after you express what you want, it means you’re not his woman anyhow and he doesn’t think you are the one to share his life with. You don’t need Baal, but Ishi.

Hosea 2:16 NASB "It will come about in that day," declares the LORD, "That you will call Me Ishi And will no longer call Me Baali.

What the lord is saying in Hebrew is, “you will no longer call Me “My Husband” (My Baal, My Master, My Owner – as a slave), but “My Ishi” (My personal Man = My Lover – as a Beloved).

How you see yourself is so important. See who you are the way the Lord sees you. Learn to respect yourself and don't settle for crumbs, but only for the BEST.
You're not cheap - Christ died for you and gave His all for you.

Walk as a Bride and a much loved woman.

Love,

Elana

Use Your Weapons of Righteousness Against any Darkness

Use Your Weapons of Righteousness Against any Darkness

"Attack anything that makes you feel unworthy, inadequate, hopeless, powerless and useless. That is the evidence of the enemy. All those things need to be attacked with joy, with peace, with love and grace, with mercy, with kindness and the goodness of God." Graham Cooke

You might ask, but how? How can I come against bad mood, negative feelings or emotions, or thoughts, storms, situations, oppression and darkness?

We fight the good fight of FAITH - of what we believe; of what we're persuaded about. We stand on what we believe. Just make sure what you believe is true.

"The law was given by Moses, BUT Grace and TRUTH was revealed through Jesus Christ."

Pay attention that the word TRUTH is no the side of Christ, and NOT on the side of Moses - the law giver.

"The Law is not of faith" Gal 3:12

In other words, we do not want to follow what's not of faith. If you follow God through the law you reject the work Christ came to do - which is to take us OUT from under such system. It's bringing back what He had buried already. We are dead to the law, it no longer has any power, or authority over us - unless we subject ourselves under it as slaves.

So, how do we fight the fight of our faith, if the law is not of faith?

With the weapons of righteousness:

2 Corinthians 6:7 AMP By [speaking] the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand [to attack] and for the left hand [to defend];

The law will always declare you as not meeting its standard - as Sinner.

But Christ came to abolish the enmity which is the law with its commandments, and by His righteousness He made us righteous as He is. He gave us His identity.

In Adam we had the identity of Sinners, but in Christ as a new creation we have a new identity of Righteous.

Romans 5:19 NASB For as through the one man's disobedience (Adam) the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One (Christ) the many will be made righteous.

So, it’s by His obedience, not my obedience to the law of works, that I became righteous.

But what are those weapons of righteousness?

The weapons of unrighteousness is presenting the members of our body to sin (Noun) – it’s a mistaken identity. We are to consider ourself dead to sin but alive in Christ.

Romans 6:11-14 NASB

(11) Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
(12) Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts,
(13) and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments (weapons) of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments (weapons) of righteousness to God.
(14) For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

When we do not consider ourself alive in Christ we let sin reign in our body and this is how we obey it’s lusts. The members of our body are not weapons of unrighteousness, but weapons of righteousness when we are alive in Christ.

When we present our body to the nature of sin (Noun) we use the weapons of unrighteousness. We do not see ourself dead to sin and resurrected as new creation, but we see our old nature of sin (Noun) as if we are still sinners.

When we present ourself to the nature of righteousness we use our body as a weapon of righteousness, knowing we are dead to sin, resurrected, a new creation, having a new nature of righteousness and we’re no longer sinners, but righteous and alive in Christ.

How can we present our members as weapons of righteousness to God?

By knowing and believing we are no longer under law and therefore sin which gets its power from the law is no longer our master. Grace is our Lord and Master. I’m inside Righteousness (noun), no longer inside Sin (noun).

  • So, when we want to use the weapons of righteousness we need to know and believe our identity in Christ, no longer Sinners but righteous by grace. We do not belong to Adam, but to Christ.
  •
  • Knowing and believing the finished works of Christ – is our weapon of righteousness.
  •
  • Knowing and believing who Christ is in us is our weapon,
  •
  • Knowing and believing who Christ has made us as a new creation is our weapon.
  •
  • Knowing and believing who God says we are, not who the law says we aren’t – is our weapon.
  •
  • Knowing and believing our position in Christ as sons, not slaves to the law – is our weapon.
  •
  • Knowing and believing we were raised up with Christ and we’re dead to sin – is our weapon.
  •
  • Knowing we have met the standard of the law is our weapon,
  •
  • Knowing and believing we have met the standard of God is our weapon.
  •
  • Knowing we have been redeemed with an eternal redemption (forgiveness) is our weapon.
  •
  • Knowing our redemption (forgiveness) is not temporary but forgiven once and for all – is our weapon.
  •
  • Knowing it’s no longer you who lives, but Christ lives in you and through you – is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing God no longer remembers your sins is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing God no longer keeps any account of your wrong is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing the certificate of debt (sins) with charges against you was cancelled, taken out of the way and nailed to the cross is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing you have been perfected already by the blood of Jesus is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing God loves you because He made you new in Christ is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing you have already been sanctified (set apart for God) by His one sacrifice is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing God sees no blemish in you is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing you are beautiful and pleasing to God because Christ is, - is your weapon.
  •
  • Knowing and believing God loves you – is your weapon.

All these are your weapons of righteousness.

The more you see Christ, and no longer YOU or the weak corrupt SELF – the more you can practice using those weapons of your right standing with God in Christ.

When Judas and his cohorts came to Jesus in the garden and they were holding their weapons; what do you think was the weapon Jesus used against them?

The weapon He used was His identity. He knew who He is in God, the oneness He has with His Father and how much His Father loves Him.

Jesus lead them to ask Him about His identity “Who are you seeking?” After all, He knew they came looking for Him and could have asked them “What do you want?” or “Why did you come with weapons?” but TWICE He asked them “Who are you seeking?” “Jesus of Nazereth” they answered. This is when Jesus used His weapon “I AM” – the weapon of His identity and His oneness and right standing with His Father. He answered them with the weapon of His identity as God Himself standing in front of them “I AM”. They sought for a MAN from Nazereth, but He kept revealing His true identity twice: “I AM”. He made sure they knew who He is. Even the Holy Spirit testified of his identity making sure they knew who He is as they all fell back to the ground, in subjection to Him who is the Lord. But they did not know who He really is. They walked in the flesh and saw a man, not God in Him.

Joh 18:3 Judas then, having received the Roman cohort and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, *came there with lanterns and torches and weapons.  Joh 18:4 So Jesus, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him, went forth and *said to them, "Whom do you seek?"  Joh 18:5 They answered Him, "Jesus the Nazarene." He *said to them, "I am He." And Judas also, who was betraying Him, was standing with them.  Joh 18:6 So when He said to them, "I am He," they drew back and fell to the ground.  Joh 18:7 Therefore He again asked them, "Whom do you seek?" And they said, "Jesus the Nazarene." Joh 18:8 Jesus answered, "I told you that I am He; so if you seek Me, let these go their way,"

These weapons of righteousness are powerful and destroy strongholds (false mindsets), reasonings, and man’s logic which comes against the knowledge of God. These weapons help us to take captive any false thought to the obedience of the Truth who is Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:3-7 NASB
(3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh,
(4) for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
(5) We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
(6) and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.
(7) You are looking at things as they are outwardly. If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ's, let him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ's, so also are we. (Consider this: you are ALREADY Christ like, in his image and form. They looked to their flesh and could not see Christ in them, but SELF and it’s corruption and thought that this is who they are. They saw a false identity)
I'm learning to use my weapons of righteousness and the Holy Spirit convicts and reminds me of my righteousness in Christ. At times when I struggle with feelings and emotions, negative thoughts or anything dark and ugly, I find it difficult to focus on Christ in me, on how much I am loved and accepted, of the oneness and no separation I have with God in Christ, of His great and deep love for me and the beauty He sees in me. Because what I feel seems so real.

But I want the truth that I know to be more real to me. The truth of God’s love for me is my reality, and not what my flesh feels or thinks.
I wake up sometimes in the morning with a negative mood, and it feels so real. It's so oppressing it makes you want to just run away to a place where there is sunshine and joy, peace and rest. But the Lord always reminds me that what I feel is not who I am.

I don't want to follow negative feelings, emotions or thoughts because these are NOT mine. It's like someone vomiting on you and telling you that this yucky vomit is yours and it’ s who you are. No, it's NOT yours and it’s NOT who you are.

“It’s not about who you’re NOT, but who I AM”. This is what the Lord kept telling me many times over and over as I was deeply walking under the accusations of the enemy who used people and myself to tell me how not good enough I am, and how I do not measure up to the standard and requirements of the law of God or any man made laws and regulations.

I don’t live my life by trying to meet any standard of any law. I already know I cannot. The minute you bring yourself under any man made laws you are subject to them and put a yoke over yourself to fulfill it. You become a slave to any law you are trying to obey. We do things out of the freedom we have, not because we have to or there is a demand. I already know Christ my Savior has met all the standards of the law for righteousness for me. So, He is my Standard and I am Righteous (meaning in Greek: have met the standard of the law, have met the standard of God), apart from my performance Rom 3:28.

Yea, I have already met God’s high standard for righteousness – my new identity is Righteous and I have done nothing to achieve it!!!!! Thank You my wonderful Lord and Father for who You have made me in You. I love my new identity which is YOU who is in me.

What you feel or think and has any negative in it - is NOT who you are.

What people see, think or say about you – is also not who you are in Christ.

They either see YOU, or CHRIST in you. They either see in the Spirit your real identity in Christ which is the truth, or in the flesh your old identity was died and buried with Jesus.

Flesh manifests daily in corrupt and ugly ways from fear, doubt, accusations, greed, jealousy or lust.

Learn to separate who you are in Christ, from what you feel, see, think or do.

Learn to separate who god says you are, from who YOU SEE (the fleshy you).

The fleshy you is not who you are anymore. It’s just a manifestation of who YOU think you are.
The more you behold (see) Christ, the more you will manifest Christ in you.

It’s what you believe that manifests through you.

When the Accuser vomits on me and tries to stick my old identity on me and I see my flesh, instead of who Christ IS in me, I speak to the Lord and literally say this (or whatever comes to mind about my true identity in Christ):

"Lord, I don't care what I feel right now, it's not who I am in Christ. These feelings, or thoughts, or manifestation of my flesh are not mine, and not my new identity. Christ lives in me and therefore I am filled with life, joy, peace and every good thing inside of me. The Spirit of the Living God dwells in me and I am one spirit with Him - and He is all Love, Grace and Kindness. I am as He is. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and this is my new identity”.

Awaken to righteousness and do not sin by unbelief, as some do not knowledge God.
1Co 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God:

Romans 13:11-12 Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. (12) The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the WORKS of darkness and put on the armor (weapons) of light. (which is your righteousness with God in Christ, apart from your works Rom 3:28)

Prayer (talking to God):

Lord, help me to use the weapons of my righteousness in Christ and overcome by the blood of Jesus paid to redeem me from myself, my old identity as a Sinner, and my corrupt flesh. Holy Spirit convict me of my righteousness in Christ daily to help me overcome by my faith – by believing who You say I am, not who I think I am. Show me more daily of my new identity in Christ and who Christ is in me, and how You see me. I want to know the power of Your resurrection which is the power of Your great Love for me.

I love you Abba – you are the BEST!!!!

Are You Living Under the Law and You Do Not Know It?

Are You Living Under the Law and You Do Not Know It?

Walking under the Law of the Old covenant means living your life by trying to meet the standard of the Law by your right-performance (works).

It’s seeing how incomplete YOU are (flesh) and therefore there is an urge to complete and perfect yourself by your own effort.

It’s thinking, “I need to meet the standard of the Law in order to be right with God”. Not knowing that Jesus IS your Standard. He IS the standard by which God measures you in Him. No longer by how well you meet the standard of the Law, but how well Jesus has met it for you.”

Since he met the standard for righteousness for YOU, then you ARE righteous with God by His righteousness; not your own. This is why righteousness is a gift, and not earned by works.

Check out the word Righteous in Greek. Among all other definitions it says "HAS MET THE STANDARD OF THE LAW; HAS MET THE STANDARD OF GOD".

You HAVE met any standard of man or laws or requirements because Jesus imputed His righteousness to you, while ALL your sins, faults, mess, old nature, old identity as sinner - was imputed to Him. There was an exchange of identity on the cross. He became you, and you became Him.

Such mindset of the Law and seeing your old identity in Adam, comes from not seeing the finished works of Christ on the cross and his resurrection. It is seeing yourself in Adam and not in Christ.

It’s an identity Crisis of being veiled by the Law from seeing the finished works of Christ and who he has made you in Him.

It’s believing that what Christ has done is NOT good enough and therefore, YOU by YOUR performance need to add to what He has already done and finished.

The language of the Law is DO, but the language of Grace is DONE, FINISHED.

Walking under the Law is seeing the old man you USED to BE in Adam before Christ was resurrected. It's seeing yourself as righteous by your performance, and how well your flesh performs; it's not seeing the new creation Christ made you.

It's still seeing your sins, blemishes, faults, wrongs and having the old identity in Adam as a Sinner.

Walking under the Law is seeing YOU instead of seeing Christ who is in you. It's beinf SELF conscious instead of Christ conscious.

It's still seeing your sins, and having the old identity in Adam as a Sinner.

Walking under the Law is seeing YOU instead of seeing Christ in you. It's focusing on SELF and not on Christ who is your new identity.

Who you are IS Christ who gave you His identity. He made you already as a new creation in His image and in His form.

So, Elana, why doesn't it manifest? Why am I still failing in my performance?

Meaning, “I am still not in the image of God”, “I am not Christlike”, I need to perform right in order to BE Christlike”.

Really???

Being made complete in the image of God who is revealed in Christ is by YOUR WORKS?

It’s by how well YOU PERFORM?

No, this deception of an unfinished works has to be removed.

AS the temple of God Christ HAS build you complete in Him. Like Eve who was built from Adam, you had NO PART in this finished works. God built you perfect in Christ, now your part is to BELIEVE IT. Believe that He did the job for you and it’s not by your own works and effort that you ARE complete.

Man cannot have ANY part in the building of the New Temple – the new creation in Christ.

It’s Christ’s works and His alone and He finished the work and now He rests.

So, rest in His finished works by believing who He has already made you.

Psalms 92:4-6 NASB

(4) For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.

(5) How great are Your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep.

(6) A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does a stupid man understand this:

Why is your new identity in Christ not manifesting yet?

Because the more you SEE who you ARE in Christ, and not who you're NOT - the more you see Christ in you. Whatever you focus on - lifts up. If you focus on YOU and your faults, and your old self, you will only see SELF and your walk will be trying to perfect your flesh.

If you behold Christ (see Him who is in you) you will be transformed into who He has already made you. Transformation and manifestation of Christ in us, is by beholding Christ, not beholding SELF.

Focus on negative, your old self in Adam, who you're not, your faults, sins, mess - will blind you from seeing who Christ has made you as a new being.

Focus on Christ, who He is, His identity which you HAVE, His righteousness, His finished works, who He made you, how complete He sees you in Him, and how perfectly He has removed all your sins from you - means you walk in the Spirit.

It means you don't walk by who YOU see yourSELF, but who you ARE as a Spirit Being.

See yourself the way God sees you in Christ, not the way the Law sees you in Adam.

The Law says "purify my heart Lord and give me a right Spirit", but the finished works of Christ says "I have already purified your heart and gave you My Spirit whithin you. I gave you a new heart and a new spirit and this is ho I made you a new creation. See who you ARE, not who you used to be. In other words, do not walk under the Law which defines who you are, walk in Who Christ has made you by His blood.

We’ve been perfected by His blood and His works, not by self effort or ANYTHING we have done or can ever do.

Hebrews 10:14-15 NASB “For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us;”

Don’t live your life like the religious guy who lived under the Law and wanted eternal life by his law keeping.

He asked Jesus how he could get eternal life. Jesus pointed to his law keeping to get him to the end of himself, so he would see how much He needs a Savior. Because by our law keeping we would only find how much we CANNOT keep the demands of the Law.

The guy in his pride thought he had already kept all the commandments, so he focused on something else he needs to DO in order to obtain eternal life. This is when Jesus said to him: “if you wish to be COMPLETE… go and do this and that”. Jesus showed us through that conversation that desiring eternal life means wishing to be complete.

Jesus added to the law another unwritten law. And the guy could not admit he cannot DO it. He could not admit he needs a Savior.

Matthew 19:16-21 NASB And someone came to Him and said, "Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?" (17) And He said to him, … if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments." (20) The young man *said to Him, "All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?" (21) Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell … and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."

If you notice, Jesus did NOT tell this man that he can have eternal life if he sells all his good. He just told him after you DO this, come and follow Me. Because eternal life is Him. He is eternal life. Eternal life was given to man because Christ HAS PERFECTED US by His blood, and not by ANYTHING we can ever do right. It's not by man's works or doings. Its a gift given to man by what Christ has done and finished.

Tyre saw herself perfect not by what God has done, but by the perfecting of the flesh – by self effort, by believing that His finished works was not good enough and man needs to add to what God has done.

Ezekiel 27:2-7 NLT

(2) "Son of man, sing a funeral song for Tyre,

(3) that mighty gateway to the sea, the trading center of the world. Give Tyre this message from the Sovereign LORD: "You boasted, O Tyre, 'My beauty is perfect!'

(4) You extended your boundaries into the sea. Your builders made your beauty perfect.

(5) You were like a great ship built of the finest cypress from Senir. They took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.

(6) They carved your oars from the oaks of Bashan. Your deck of pine from the coasts of Cyprus was inlaid with ivory.

(7) Your sails were made of Egypt's finest linen, and they flew as a banner above you. You stood beneath blue and purple awnings made bright with dyes from the coasts of Elishah.

Ezekiel 27:10-11 NASB

(10) "Persia and Lud and Put were in your army, your men of war. They hung shield and helmet in you; they set forth your splendor.
(11) "The sons of Arvad and your army were on your walls, all around, and the Gammadim were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around; they perfected your beauty.

The Galatians had wrong doctrine about the finished works of Christ:
Galatians 3:1-3 NASB

(1) You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? (the old identity in Adam was gone, it died!!!)

(2) This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

(3) Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

The resurrection of Christ is the evidence that the working of God was made complete and therefore we WERE raised up with Him already circumcised from the flesh old nature. Our old self is dead and was removed by the Spirit. Not by man’s hands.

Colossians 2:9-12 NASB

(9) For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,

(10) and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

(11) and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ;

(12) having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

We have been perfected by the unity Jesus brought. We ARE one spirit with Him already by the new Spirit He gave us and put in us. We’re in Him and He is in us already.

Joh 17:23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity,

1 Corinthians 6:17 NASB (17) But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

A question:

Wouldn't we be liars if we said nothing is negative. How could our God lift us out of negative things if there is no acknowledgment of them to come out of?

My answer:

This world is in darkness and doesn't know the light. We're not of this world and we're not to look at who the world says we are. We look to Heaven, our true Home where we already live and citizens of. That's the struggle between the Spirit and the Flesh, Grace and Law, Works and Faith we all go through. But we're learning in our walk to walk free - not by doing, but by KNOWING who are are in Christ. As for our identity, indeed we ARE complete in Christ, new beings which He built. There is indeed no blemish in us. If we look to the flesh (which died with Christ) we will SEE all the blemishes and try to perfect dead flesh. But when we look to Christ we will SEE Christ in us; His righteousness - no longer our own through the perfection of our dead flesh. we're not worshippers of the dead, but of the Living One who is in us and made us complete in Him. How? He perfectly removed and took away all our sins. That’s how He cleansed us once and for all. Your sins have been completely removed and you are a new creation, beautiful, perfect in His eyes. We just need to SEE who He has made us.

Much love and grace,

Elana
Never define your Identity and Life by a Negative

“Never allow your life to be defined by a negative. Never allow your life to be defined by people who don't like you!" Graham Cooke.

I add, never define your life by who the Law and the ministry of condemnation, says you are. The law of works will always condemn you for your failed performance; and no matter how well you perform it will never be good enough.

Don’t live your life by trying to measure up to any standard of man, or man made laws or regulations. You CANNOT fulfill the Law or meet its high standard!!!

Jesus IS the standard by which God sees you. By His works He met the standard for you and therefore you are righteous. It’s by His righteousness, not your by your works.

Live free by who God says you are in Christ, and how He sees you through the finished works of Jesus. You ARE complete and beautiful and there is no blemish in you. He took them ALL out of the way.

Song of Solomon 4:7 “You are altogether beautiful, my darling, And there is no blemish in you.

First Adam, Where ar You?

First Adam, Where ar You?

How we speak comes from our heart, from who we perceive God to be, and how we perceive ourselves to be.

Dave Vaughn said: "Language is so important. What we believe speaks and brings shape to what's around us. What we have 'Heard' has been a mess, mixture at best".

Babylon means Mixture - it's a mixture of law and grace which causes confusion. It is a mixture of works and faith self effort and God's works, Man (first Adam) and Christ (second Adam). It is a mixture and confusion of identity in Christ.

Mixture (Babylon) preaches the love of God but brings the rod of the Law to instill fear and condemnation.

The rod and God’s staff as our Shepherd (Psalm 23) was never meant to beat the sheep; but to beat the wolves who were trying to devour them.

I've heard someone saying to me once that the Lord disciplines us as a shepherd disciplines his sheep. If the sheep runs away he breaks its legs to make sure it will never run away again. WOW!!!! How upset I was when I heard it. how far away this false image is from who Christ is. "It's the goodness of God that leads us to repentance" not His harshness from the law.

We're no longer under such system which punishes for wrong. God's love transforms us and makes sure we would never even want to leave Him. Why would anyone leave love, kindness, goodness, patience, joy - this is who God is.

Dave Vaughn continued: "As we are now evolving the language will be redefined causing what's around us to be reshaped or you could say 'Re-Formed' LOL! God's not in a rush, the Resurrection is a sign of His eternal commitment to us, He's redefining us and we will speak a new language. Soon you'll find yourself saying 'Adam where are you?'"

I love how Dave put it together. It's the reforming of the Sons of God who learn to speak as Sons, not as slaves.

Many will leave this year scratching their heads saying 'Not sure what I believe anymore' Evolution will produce Revolution as He redefines language in the Church! Anyone having their theology challenged right now? LOL, Things no longer what they once seemed?

There is a call of God to come out from under condemnation. the Lord by His Spirit (of Truth and of grace) is pouring out Grace in a huge measure to cast out the Bond Woman Hagar who represents the Old covenant of the Law of Works from our midst.

There is a separation going on as those who are deeply rooted under the law of works and self effort fruits, are being shaken to find their roots in Christ alone, in Grace alone, in truth alone. Hagar (Law) has to submit to Sarah (Grace) and be cast out.

Galatians 4:21-26 NASB

(21) Tell me, you who want to be under law, do you not listen to the law?
(22) For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bondwoman and one by the free woman.
(23) But the son by the bondwoman was born according to the flesh (self effort fruit), and the son by the free woman through the promise.
(24) This is allegorically speaking, for these women are from Mount Sinai bearing children who are to be slaves; she is Hagar.two covenants:
(25) Now this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to ) with her childrenthe present Jerusalem, for she is in slavery.
(26) But the Jerusalem above is free; she is our mother.

Galatians 4:29-31 NASB
(29) But as at that time he who was born according to the flesh (self effort, works, law) persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so it is now also.
(30) But what does the Scripture say? "CAST OUT THE BONDWOMAN AND HER SON, FOR THE SON OF THE BONDWOMAN SHALL NOT BE AN HEIR WITH THE SON OF THE FREE WOMAN."
(31) So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the free woman.

The Law is no longer your Nanny, and it was never you real Mommy, but the Spirit of Grace is your Mother.

The Church is focused on casting out demons, but it's the Law of the old covenant which is the ministry of condemnation and of death, that needs to be cast out.

Law and Grace CANNOT live together in the same House (of God). We cannot worship two masters. We would either love the one and hate the other, or the opposite.

“Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart”, For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave. Psalm 86:11-13

He indeed gave us a new heart, undivided, one pure heart. Now our renewed mind believes that it is so.

Mixture (Babylon the Harlot) is NOT who you are in Christ. Do not be confused in your identity. You are in Christ and He is not a Harlot or a slave or your Nanny. He is Holy, Pure, righteous, Perfect, Beautiful, Beloved, Pleasing to the Father. This is how the Father sees you.

Choose pure grace and cast out the Law with its fruit from your House. You are the House of God if the Spirit of the Lord dwells in you.

The finished works of Christ is the only thing that can remain - it's the Love of God and the gift of God to humanity. Any other works, man's works to perfect himself, complete himself, be right with God, and any other teaching which preaches Law saying "you're no good enough" has to cease, decrease, and cut off.

May grace be poured on you in great measure and law will be cast out of your mindset, until all that remains is Christ. Until you say “First Adam, where are you?” and all you see is Christ in you, no longer YOU.

Much love and grace

God's Thoughts for You

God's Thoughts For You

by Elana Polinger on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 2:11am

God's thoughts are positive, always lifting up and encouraging. Negative thoughts are never God so you don't have to listen to them. They will condemn you and bring you down; rob you of joy and hope.

God is always loving, full of hope, kind, gentle, patient, full of grace and truth and brings healing, restoration and freedom. He resurrects dead situations, turns wilderness into fertile land, and brings abundance of light and life. He is always joyful and full of amazing dreams for you.

The Gospel itself is God’s thoughts for you. Gospel means "Good News". What good news does God have for you?

Through the message of the gospel (good news) God shares His thoughts for you - His thoughts of your salvation, for your well being, your family, your health, prosperity and your future. He shares His thoughts of His redemption to you, His forgiveness, His reconciliation, and His peace with you.

The good news God shares with all humanity is: "My Son paid the price of all your sins and made a way for you to come and have a relationship with Me without fear. Now you can call Me Abba because I remember your sins no more. You can have a relationship with Me through My Son who brought a new covenant and much grace.

I keep no account of any wrong and will never be angry with you or rebuke you for your wrong. I no longer point to sin or deal with sin in your life. My Son was punished for the sins of you entire life.

Will you receive such gift of life from Me?

I did it all for you to come and be with Me without fearing that you're not good enough, or not measuring to the standard of the law? I no longer measure you by your performance (works) and how well you keep the law, but by My Son who has met My standard. I measure you by who He is and no longer by who you are. When I look at you, I see Him and His righteousness, holiness, beauty and perfection. I see Him in you and no longer your sins, failures, or weaknesses.

Will you accept My free gift of eternal life by receiving My Son as your sin sacrifice?

I will come into your life and you will know that you are Mine forever. I will give you a new heart and a new spirit and nothing will never be able to separate you from Me. Come, and I will give you rest for your soul.

REINHARD BONNKE wrote: "To human thinking it is foolishness, but this is the wisdom of God. The mind of Christ challenges us to soar like eagles and live in the dimension of faith."

By faith you are saved.

Much love,

God Did You really ask us to give You a broken spirit and a contrite heart?

God Did You really ask us to give You a broken spirit and a contrite heart?

By Elana Polinger

God? Are You confused?

On one hand You said: "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise." Psa 51:17 NASB

On the other hand You said: " A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person's strength." Proverbs 17:22

Another translation says: A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones. Pro 17:22 NASB

You compare a cheerful heart with a broken heart. What's going on, Lord?

You also said that a broken spirit comes from a sad heart: "A joyful heart makes a cheerful face, But when the heart is sad, the spirit is broken." Pro 15:13 NASB

So, do You want us to give You a sacrifice of a broken spirit by having a sad sorrowful heart?

Did You really ask us to give You a broken spirit and a contrinte heart? Or do You delight in a cheerful heart? Because You said that a broekn heart dries the bone.

Do You want us to have dry bones as the Israelites had in the book of Ezekiel and this is a sacrifice You accept? When their bones were dy they were actually dead and You told Ezekiel to speak to the bones and bring them back to life.

Why would You ask for a sacrifice of broken spirit and contrite heart, and then tell us that if we have a broken spirit we will end up with dry bones - which is DEATH? Why, Lord?

Under the law of the old covenant, God gets man to the end of himself. The pride of the Israelites was believing they could keep the law, so they told God "we will do and obey". The minute they said it in their pride as they trusted in their own performance, God told them not to get near Him and keep a distance from the mountain. Before they said "we will do and obey" God called them to come near Him, there was no judgment, no wrath but only grace from the moment they left Egypt. Pure grace was there UNTIL the minute the law was received. Moses and his brothers pierced 3000 of their own brothers and all they knew was judgment for every wrong.

There is nothing we can give God but only ONE sacrifice - that of His Son Jesus. He was the One who had a broken spirit.

Job knew that when his spirit was broken only death waited for him.

Job 17:1 NASB My spirit is broken, my days are extinguished, The grave is ready for me.

Pro 18:14 NASB The spirit of a man can endure his sickness, But as for a broken spirit who can bear it?

God showed us that a broken spirit comes from sorrows. This is why it says about Jesus that He was a man acquainted with sorrows, rejected by man in Isaiah 53. So, according to Isaiah 53 being a man of sorrows (which results from a broken spirit) means being with grief, being despised and not esteemed.

(Isa 53:3 NASB) "He was despised and forsaken of men, A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; And like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him."

Jesus indeed had a broken spirit as a result of the sorrows of rejection. Even His own disicples left Him when He was on the cross, except one - John the beloved.

It was Jesus who gave God a sacrifice of a broken spirit because on the cross He went through th sorrows of rejection. Even the Father rejected Him. He was no longer one Spirit with the Father. He became sin and was separated form Him for the first time. For the first time He addresses His Father as God "My God My God, why have You forsaken Me?" He was forsaken and separated from the Father and his heart was broken. The Father had to turn His back to Him and forsake Him.

Why? His rejection was our acceptance. He was forsaken so we can be adopted as sons. He became sin and we became righteous. He imputed His righteousness to us and all our sins were imputed to Him.

When Jesus carried our sorrows it means he was the one who sacrificed to God a broken spirit:

(Isa 53:4 NASB) Surely our griefs He Himself bore, And our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted.

God never despised Jesus' broken and contrite heart, but accepted His sacrifice of a broken spirit and a contrite heart.

He humbled Himself to death - and all was done for us. It's His obedience that made us righteous. Not our own obedience. It's His sacrifice, not or own.

The only sacrifice God accepts is Jesus. No other form. We see it with Cain and Abel. Abel brought the accepted sacrifice; but Cain brought his sacrifice - his works, his own effort, what he worked hard for.

Give God the One accepted sacrifice and believe that it's enough and pleasing to the Father.

Everything God demanded from man under the old covenant Jesus fulfilled for us. Receive what He has done and believe in Him.

Our part in the plan of salvation is to believe and receive His finished works. The more truth is revealed to us, the more we're set free to bear good fruits.

Don't live with God under the old system of the law thinking you need to fulfill it. When David wrote that Psalm, it was BEFORE the cross. It was still the old covenant of the law.

Always discern what you read by asking yourself "Is it BEFORE the cross, or AFTER the cross?"

Everything BEFORE the cross is still God dealing with man under the system of the law.

The new covenant was established only AFTER the cross and here God deals with us no longer based on our performance (works), but based on Jesus' works which He finished.

It's the perfect works of removing perfectly ALL your sin-nature (Noun) and knowing that God sees Christ in you.

As He is, so you are in this world. He is righteous and therefore, also you are. He is holy, and so you are. You are made in His image and it's no longer you who lives, but Christ who lives in you. He became YOU.

There was an exchange on the cross. As your High Priest He represents you to the Father. When God sees Christ, this is how He sees you. He sees Christ in you, not you.

Only under the law God would see YOU and YOUR performance and He will expect your performance to be perfect and meeting the standard of the law.

There is no hope for us if God measured us by who we are and our works. Today God measures you by who Christ Jesus is, and His finished works.

Heb 7:26 KJV For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Much love and grace,
