"Digging beyond the surface in order to build your foundation upon the Rock, or as James puts it, “looking deeply into the law of perfect liberty,″ is summed up in 2Cor.13:5,8, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are holding to your faith, test yourselves, do you not realise that Jesus Christ is in you? For we cannot do anything against the truth, only for the truth!
Note that the appeal is not to examine conduct but faith!
The New Testament does not reveal a new, revised set of rules in order to compromise the Ten Commandments; it is the revelation of mankind′s redeemed identity!"
