Seeing God? How?
Seeing God? How?
“Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She looked around and said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (Jn 8:10–11).
Do you know what speaks to me here?
When she looked around her and SAW NO ACCUSER AROUND.They were ALL gone!!!!And it wasn't HER who dealt with them.It wasn't HER that fought them or drove them away from her life.It was HIM!He did it!He drove them away from her life and set her free from those accusers who were about to kill her.
When she looked around she SAW no accuser no one! All that remained was Jesus.Jesus said to her, I'm not one of those accusers, "Neither do I condemn you"
When she looked around All she SAW was Jesus.All she saw was Light and Love.All she SAW was Christ in front of her as in a mirror.She could SEE herself more clearly when the dark cloud of accusers was gone.She was awakened to LOVE - to see herself through His eyes.
“But when they were FULLY AWAKE they saw His glory” (Luke 9:32)
Don't look around you in the midst of the storm, look in one direction... see Chrits,See who you are,See the love and grace,See yourself through His eyes.
(12) We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! (13) But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love. 1Co 13:12-13
Job in the midst of his suffering knew that one day he WILL SEE God with his own eyes. He knew one day his eyes will open. He was so excited about it he almost fainted:
Job 19:25-27 NASB(25) "As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.(26) "Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God;(27) Whom I myself shall behold, And whom my eyes will see and not another. My heart faints within me!
Job had not only heard of God but had also seen him: ""I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You."
Job 42:1-5 NASB(1) Then Job answered the LORD and said,(2) "I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.(3) 'Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' "Therefore I have declared that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know."(4) 'Hear, now, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me.'(5) "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You;
David asked:
Psalms 42:2 AMP(2) My inner self thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God? [John 7:37; I Thess. 1:9, 10.]
And the answer is.... LOOK IN THE MIRROR and see Him looking at you.
Look around you and see Him in ALL... He is ALL and in ALL.
