The Lord is Awakening Love - It’s Time for Love




The Bible is a Love Story. It’s the story of a Lover who had lost His Beloved Bride.



She left Him for another husband (Baal in Hebrew means “husband”) who sold her to slavery and she chose many lovers.



The image of the Lord as her Husband, Friend, Lover, Father was lost and with it her identity. The Lord’s image was replaced with a false distorted image.



He decides to come down and search for His beautiful flower amongst all the weeds of religion. He came to seek and find His lost beloved Bride, to take her Home with Him and marry her.



This is a language of a Lover who is in love with His Bride.



◦We’re returning to our first Love,

◦The Lord is restoring His image and glory as a Lover.

◦We are returning to seeing and experiencing Him as our Lover.

◦He is restoring intimacy with Him.

As a Lover He says:



1.1. I Passed by you, I saw you, I spoke life over you,

2.2. I caused you to grow like a flower,

3.3. I gave you beauty,

4.4. I covered your nakedness with my wings,

5.5. I promised to marry you,

6.6. You are Mine – you belong to Me,





Then He says in the chapter:



7. And you were exceedingly beautiful and you prospered into royal estate



8. Your renown went forth among the nations for your beauty, for it was perfect through My majesty and splendor which I had put upon you, says the Lord God.



The Lord is bringing His Bride into a new place of intimacy to reveal His heart for us and let us see, know and experience His love:



◦We will see more of who He is – New vision, sight, perspective, understanding, dreams,

◦We will recognize and hear His voice more clearly,

◦We will change –start bearing His fruits as a result of abiding in Him He in us. We become as He is.

◦We will grow in love – in the midst of hearts that will grow cold,

◦We will trust Him and His confidence – rest, peace, stillness,

◦We will become His witnesses – Our testimony will be “this is who Jesus is for me”.





We need to respond.Our part is to respond to the Lord and follow Him in this love dance.



1.a. Respond to the hunger in you,

2.b. Find out what the Lord wants to say to you,

3.c. Let the Holy Spirit guide and direct you,

4.d. Let go of the past earthly identity,

5.e. Be prepared for a change – a renewal of your mind about the Lord,

6.f. Ask Him questions,

7.g. Live in expectation – Think about it all day,

8.h. Stay in your place when adversity comes – not run away,

9.i. Enjoy the journey,





God is inviting you to enter into this time for Love. It’s the scripture coming to life in you. He wants you to possess and treasure His love in your heart. He wants you to live in it, to have it, to become it.



THE LORD IS SAYING;



“My beloved, My bride, you are the apple of MY eyes. You are My precious one. I died for you because I love you, and I want to restore you to your rightful place.You are written in My heart and I say to you, this is your place. This is My promised love for you because I desire to give you all that I AM.



How long will you wait to possess your promised land?



How long will you wait to inherit the depth and the length and the width and height of My heart and My love for you?



There is so much I want to show you and places in My heart to take you. I want to be for you the I AM you have never known.



I am Eternal and My treasures in you will never be stolen or consumed by fire. I put Me in you so you would desire and crave more of Me.



So, come! Taste and see that My love for you is good.



Come and seek ME and I will put this fire in your heart for Me. You will be consumed by My love for you, and I will be your only desire and nothing else will satisfy.



Come because this is the time for love.



I am telling you My beloved to take your rightful place in My secret place. My heart is your hiding place.



My beloved, there isn’t much time. Return to your first Love and let Me be your Lover.



Seeking Me doesn’t mean you pray more or study more, soak more or do more.



Seeking Me means responding to My love.



Responding to that desire and hunger I put in you.



It means being consumed with Me in your mind and My love for you.



“How beautiful you are, my darling, how beautiful! Your eyes are like doves. You are altogether beautiful, my darling, and there is no blemish in you. Come with me my bride, come with me. Come down from where the lions have their dens and leopards live among the hills. You have captured my heart, my treasure, my bride. You hold it hostage with one glance of your eyes. Your love delights me, my treasure, my bride. Your love is better than wine, your perfume more fragrant than spices. Your lips are as sweet as nectar, my bride. Honey and milk are under your tongue. Your clothes are scented like the cedars of Lebanon. I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine, among the lilies. You are as beautiful as Tirzah (Desired), my darling, As lovely as Jerusalem.” Son 1:15, 4:7-11, 6:3-4 “Yes, I am your Lover. It’s Me who comforts you and speaks to you. It’s Me who embraces and kisses you, even in your sleep. I will fill your heart with joy and laughter.”



“You are My beautiful bride and I am very pleased with you. I made you stunning and astonishing and I know what a beautiful woman you are. We are one My love because I brought you to Myself. I smile at you and smell the fragrance of your love for Me. I have surrounded you with My presence of love and favor.”



“Rejoice in Me My beloved and be filled with My love for you. I want you to know Me as your Lover. I want to show you how deeply loved you are. It is by My love for you that you are able to stand in the glory I have given you. My love for you will invade your being and answer your every desire.”



“Rest in My love for you, for I am your Lover who sees your beauty. I have helped you to thrive like a plant in the field, like a beautiful jewel. I know that you are ready for love; for it is the time for love. You are wrapped with My robe around you and I declare My marriage vows to you. My covenant brought you to Me and you became Mine. I am the one who bathed you and washed you; I rubbed My fragrant oils in you and I gave you expensive clothing of beautifully embroidered silk, and My shoes of peace. I adorned you with lovely jewelry, bracelets, beautiful necklaces, a ring, earrings and a lovely crown for your head. I gave you My glory and you are complete. I adorned you with gold (My righteousness) and silver (My redemption and the full payment of your entire debt). Your garment is made of fine linen and is beautifully embroidered by Me. I have the finest foods for you to eat at My table in the presence of your enemies. You are more beautiful than ever. You look like a queen, and so you are! I dressed you in My splendor and perfected your beauty, says the Lord your Lover” (Eze 16:7-14)



“My presence will go with you and I will give you rest. Rest is found in My love for you and My finished works. I am your rest and will reveal Myself to you as your Lover who has done it all for you. I have brought you to life; I have washed and cleansed you; I have purified and perfected you; I have built you; I have completed you; I have clothed you; I have adorned you with My glory which I have given you. Rest from your works to complete yourself and become right with Me by doing right. I have made you righteous by faith apart from your pformance (Rom 3:28)- so believe that you are right with Me. Rest in My finished works that completed you by My blood. I will reveal My glory to you.”



“I will show and reveal My heart for you and will make you a witness of the things which I will reveal to you. It is My desire for you to be immersed in My love for you. A love that is eternal, deep and gentle, kind and overwhelming. It is time to awaken love and time for love (Eze 16:8)”



Be filled with His love and bask in His presence, smell His aroma and eat His fruits in abundance.



Prayer:



Father, thank You for giving us Your Son Jesus our Messiah and You have prepared a Wedding Feast for us.



I thank You Holy Spirit that You draw us to Him and reveal to us our Father and our Lover. You are the best and we love You.



I ask You Lord that You will create a passionate desire in our hearts for You, so we can bear the fruits of love and we can love one another with the love that You shower on us.



Help me to receive Your love and respond to You.



Come and do what You know best and help us to assume our position as Your Beloved Bride.



Holy Spirit I want to know You more and ask You to reveal Yourself to me more and more and reveal the glory of Jesus our Lover. Awaken love and bring me into an intimate relationship with You. In Jesus name, Amen.
